My first car was an MG Midget 1976, I bought it in 1993 and I still have it. One of the comfiest cars I've ever owned was a Maestro Advantage - what a car! But what rust... Not the brightest star in my motoring career all the same. Then had an Astra (Belmont) 1.8SXi which was a bullet of a thing, and an estate no less! A hare mooshed my front bumper though - ouch.

went in a new (well say new, it was 6 months old and now the "old" style astra...) Astra SXi the other day....wasn't that impressed by it... felt totally tacky inside. Better than what he used to own though.. a Saxo VTR.... went like stink but was the worst buitl car ever in the history of badly built cars!!

Got to test a new Astra pre-UK launch and I was very impressed. It looks great and the interior has had a lot of work too. I think they'll prove to be popular, and the 3-dr promises to be a great looker too.

Nothing wrong with Seat... at the end of the day it's a VW!

I had a Seat Ibiza for years, some people just have to get what they can afford.

Pantohorse - yes again I salute you and your good taste.

I'd also like alloy wheels and an exhaust with fire coming out of it

:x :x
