The Big Brother housemates will get £200 to shop with after answering questions about each other in this week's task.

They also received a prize of a phone call to one of the housemates from a loved one.

They had to choose who was most deserving of the prize. Tim was selected and he received a 40-second call from his mother.

Tim had been worrying about why people were chanting "Tim out!" at the eviction on Friday night.

He was pleased to receive words of assurance from his mother, and said thank you to Big Brother for the phone call - but he was left tearful after the exchange.

For the task, the housemates were called to the diary room in turn and asked a question about one of their fellow contestants.

After three questions each, they had to decide among themselves who they felt most deserved a phone call to a family member or friend.

Each correct answer earned the group £25 to spend on shopping and an extra five seconds of phone time.
