Okay, Emmykins has made her feelings clear about dear old Dan here. But let's not forget the classic movies he's been in. Ghostbusters 1&2, Blues Brothers (including duff sequel), Driving Miss Daisy and etc.

Some of you may stand back and say "God, that man's got fat with the years", true. But Emmykins and his wife love him, give the man a break.

He also wrote much of the best films he was in. Everyone thinks Ghostbusters was Harold Ramis' idea but it was actually Dan's. He wrote it as something from himself and John Belushi, but John died.

Another little fact: Dan was writing a line for John (who was going to play Venkman, but a very different Venkman to the one we know and love) in Ghostbusters when he got the phone call telling him John was dead. :-(

Don't have Sky movies, I'll have to install it soon though!!!

Taking dogs for walk now but rest assured I will be thinking of Dan as i traipse uphill and down dale!!!

Usually they have some terrestrial Dan. About 2 weeks ago Spies Like Us was on, and Blues Brothers was shown twice in the same month not long ago. And Driving Miss Daisy, featuring Dan's oscar-nominated performance! ()^

They have no choice! I force him upon them!

I might make them watch Best of Dan Aykroyd - Saturday Night Live because I haven't forced that on them yet. It's an old video, available on Ebay! They have some UK format vids on there now of it if anyone's interested ;)
