Yay Dan I just thought I would keep this thread going for you Emmykins!

I am the same age as panto, and I can say that Blues Brothers was the coolest film to like in my adolescence!

It was odd really coz I don't think it did well at the box office?

Like Bladerunner!!

I think it did okay, but because of the huge budget it was labelled a flop. It became popular later though. I think the original release of The Rockey Horror Picture Show was a 'flop' too wasn't it?

I think so. A lot of these films actually started the video-rental industry, before that if a film was a relative flop at the Box-office that was it!

So officially Blockbuster owe everything to Dan.

The Blues Brothers soundtrack was voted the best in some poll. I can find some articles.

And they've only recently given John Belushi his star on the Walk of Fame. Shame he's dead, like.

Something cool I just discovered: I'm at work so I don't have any pics of him and and can't perv over any websites coz these computers are so bloody slow, but I can come here and perv at the pics here!
