Saw "The Village" the other night. From comments overheard from other people in the cinema, not many people liked it. I thought it was fascinating on so many different levels. One of which being I have often wished I could just opt out of society and live in a secure village with like-minded people, far away from the rest of the crazy world.

I'm SO glad it didn't turn into another ridiculous monster movie.

Anyone else seen it?

well when the monsters were actually people.
then i got all excited cos i thought a real monster was coming to get her...
then it was just the mentally challenged gentleman. i dunno.

it was a good film. the guy who gave her the medicine was hot! ::lol::

Was that a twist? I was SO relieved that it was a person dressed up as a monster. Reality is so much more interesting than monsters. And usually far more disturbing!! I hate sci-fi monster films - they're so unbelievable, and unfortunately I think that is what most people were expecting from this movie - a monster flick.

The guy with the meds was cute, I have to agree!

yaaay! ::lol::

i dunno, i find paranormal stuff like ghosts and that creepy. i think i'm alone in this. ::lol:: when i saw Jeepers Creepers i was very scared in case something like that exists, it really disturbed me. but my mum and sister were like "oh my god, i've never seen so much shite in my life!"

But, isn't that like, what happens in scooby doo? Except they also use a couple of twigs and a torch to project a hologram of a ghost... or something...

What am I talking about?

my friend couldnt take the film seriously, because Red is the bad colour and the female lead is ginger. ::lol::

that monster in jeepers creepers was one of the best i've seen, normally they're rubbish but that thing even gave me the creeps :eek:

the first one was scary though,d
the bit at the end where the boy has those holes were his eyes had been... and that song "jeepers, creepers, where'dya get those peepers?" :eek:!!!
