I've actually looked out my ticket so I can pinpoint the day I went off them 18th September 1993 (now I feel old-ish)

Billy Corgan, lead singer, decided to start lecturing the audience about god knows what. It really pi$$ed me off.

I think he was a bit of a dick after they did 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness', and then he returned to normal? But then that was released in '95, so irunno... I think it was the album after that which was done mostly by him with little involvement from other members. Maybe you caught him at a bad time. And the other band members might be just lovely. They did play after his rant, right?

Oh, another 'The Eagles' song I like is 'The Sad Cafe'.

Yeah, they kept playing but I was in a bad mood by then, after being told off (along with everyone else) by Mr Corgan.

I know that audiences can be right arseholes at times, especially the ******* wankers at glastonbury who wave their cigarette burners in the air... its just plain dumb! It looks dumb, its pointless, stop it before I throw some petrol over you!
