Has anyone else seen the film 'Sylvia' about Sylvia Plath with Gwyneth Paltrow playing Sylvia?

I watched it on DVD this morning - thought it was quite interesting but that is because she was the subject of my dissertation years ago - anyone else seen it? :wave:

She was an American poet :angel:

And I didn't get to see it in the cinema because where I live they only go for commercial type films - this one was too 'arty' :-?

I hate cinemas like that. I think we should be able to have more choices in what we watch.
We only have a two screen cinema where I live at the moment, so the coices are even less. But they have started building a multi-plex.

I know it was on at the Arthouse in Manchester but it would have been such a faff to go there to see it... so I had to wait til it came out on DVD.

And I know at least three of my friends who want to borrow it, so it isn't just me who likes these things! :angel:

She committed suicide in 1963... she was married to Ted Hughes - just watch it! ::lol::

they showed it in the UGC up here, but i've never really been into Sylvia Plath. my depressed goth friends probably went to see it though! ()^ ::lol::
