How could people vote Prince William Sexiest Male over Johnny Wilkinson and Jude Law:
Cowell Has X Factor At Celeb Awards
Pop Idol's king of spleen Simon Cowell has been named Celebrity Of The Year at a glitzy TV award ceremony.
The razor-tongued music pundit, notorious for leaving contestants in floods of tears, got his gong from members of Westlife - a band that he helped on the road to stardom - at ITV's Celebrity Awards 2004.
But while X Factor Cowell's victory was decided by a judging panel, TV viewers had the final say over categories like Reality Star of the Year.
That award went to Big Brother 5 winner and Britain's favourite transsexual, Nadia 'Oh My God' Almada.
Nadia's naughty co-stars Stuart Wilson and Michelle Bass took the Celebrity Couple award, proving once again that, while Nadia might have won the show, they have grabbed the lion's share of the publicity.
Stu has even hinted that he's planning an assault on Hollywood, preferably in the latest James Bond movie.
An absent Prince William was voted Sexiest Male, beating fellow heart-throbs Johnny Wilkinson and Jude Law, while sexiest female was former S Clubber Rachel Stevens.
Olympian heroine Kelly Holmes was Sports Star of the Year, and the nation's favourite TV Cast award went to the Coronation Street gang.
Geordie double act Ant and Dec, insepaparable as ever, had to share the Man Of The Year Award, while Jennifer Ellison won Woman Of The Year following her winning stint on Gordon Ramsay's reality hit Hell's Kitchen.
Cockney songbird Martine McCutcheon hosted the awards, which were attended by a flock of celebrities from Caprice to Girls Aloud.
