It was brilliant! I had forgotten how good he was live or I'd have bought a ticket as soon as they went on sale and not on the day of the concert. No frills, just him and the band (awesome lead guitarist and Bryan wasn't bad himself ;)) and he did most of the songs a la MTV unpluged. The majority of the songs everyone was singing along (I'm sure you can imagine Summer of 69 and Everything I do). He did the last three songs just him and his accoustic guitar dedicated to the Scottish soldiers being re-deployed in Iraq. I think that was an extra for us because during the second song he said "it's been a long time since I've sung this). Anyway, brilliant night :)

....i'm going to see Rio's dad, Franz, next friday night, at Brixton.

...and i'm going to see The Big Yin, tonight, at Hammersmith- will he make any reference to hostages, i wonder? {@}

I was there too, it was absolutely awesome! :x

He dedicated the whole acoustic section to the Scottish soldiers but I agree with Lyns "All For One" I think was added in as a bonus but possibly because the lassie Chelsea that got up on stage mentioned she was going to see Sting.

Speedway his support was good aswell.

Wish I knew you was going Lyns, could have met up for a drink in the bar. ;)
