Keep it short and sweet
As you find words that meet
And then you won't fail
In telling your little tale

It will all make sense
As you share your tuppence
If you carry on through
Little rhymes you'll accrue

long time no see
must have been a long pee

couldn't stay away
the hippo you will play

Hello young man
This is a fan

Because you are SO sweet
And our hearts miss a beat

Not sure about the pee
But I did have to flee

Back for the moment
To spar with an opponent

a battle will comense
if we've any sense

is my spelling right
or maybe it is sh*te

A struggle it will be
I may have to plea

The battle will be tight
And not a small fight

My poems are slightly lacklustre
But for the moment it's all I can muster

Hello and thank you, Little Sheep,
I've just woken up from the deepest sleep
But now at last I am awake
Waiting for a chance to take

Good to see some new blood on here
Now that hippo's gone I hear a cheer

Many greetings Mia and Hippo
Many bleatings Little Sheep
My mother calls me Pizzicato
For why? A secret I shall keep

Perhaps you are a musician?
Or need to see a physician...
As she's referring to your gait:
Short, sharp steps are your trait

It's my father that's the musician
(And also, strangely, a physician)
And I am nearly six feet tall
So short sharp steps are not my call

But Little Sheep, what about you?
You've been away? What did you do?

I'm back to work, keep having fun!

poor hippo will be sad
that comment is quite bad
he really is rather sweet
doesn't even have smelly feet (I'm told)
I like the man it's plane to see
he likes others but his favourite is me
he will be back later tonight
tell he he is sweet and give him a fright

Hippo is sweet
As sweet as Orkney Fudge
The sweetest thing on God's green earth
And never bears a grudge
