I am reading The Alchemist by Paul Coelho. Have just started it but it looks very promising.

Did you enjoy this book, Happy?
A lot of the reviewers on Amazon reckon it's inspiring and life-changing. I thought it was Ok as a kind of fairy-tale for grown-ups, but nothing more.

  I am so sorry I missed this question Claire-n. I wouldn't have said it was life changing myself but I think there was some interesting and valid points in the book. It's not too long so only takes a few days to read it and I guess you can take as much from it as you like. I wouldn't mind reading some of his other stuff too mind.

sorry it has taken me over 2 months to reply

I'm reading a thriller by John Sanford, called "Mortal prey" its the 1st time i've read 1 of his books!! Its promising the main character, Lucas Davenport, reminds me of William Petersen from "Red dragon"!! I think, like in that book, hes made an oddly likable murderer, i hope Lucas doesn't catch Clara Rinker in the end
