By Cecelia Aherne.

I've probably spelt her name wrong but never mind. :D
Has anyone read this book? I noticed it in Asda the other day and I nearly bought it.
It's not the sort of thing I would normally read to be honest but it's had such rave reveiws I wondered if it is worth giving it a go.

I have seen it and am trying to pick it up in the library. I know CC has read it and said it was good.

At least I think she said she has ${

She's the Irish Prime Minister's daugter you know :D

I've heard a lot of people say it's good, that's what drew my attention to it.
I might take the plunge and get it this weekend.

CC is? I thought she was from England?

I saw that book once, I don't know if it's my thing.

:oops: oh.

sorry for being stupid. I should of guessed, I've heard the name of the Irish Prime Minister on the news before. believe it or not I do listen to the news when mum and dad have it on - I wouldn't believe it from the lack of general knowledge I've shown on BBFans tonight!

No I haven't read this but they did recommend it on the Richard and Judy summer read list.

It sounds like a novel idea for a novel :angel:

I really enjoyed this book although have to admit that I did shed a few tears while reading it. Cecelia Ahearne has now got another book out, may have to purchase that while in town on Saturday.

Litterally it means leader or something

But in this case it means Prime Minister.

This book is utter pap and the woman must have only got it published because of who Daddy is. Chick-lit is usually rubbish anyway but this takes the cake!
