Brian Harvey
Age: 30
Supporters: The True Steppers, girlfriend Emma B
Fears: Water (he can't swim), spiders, heights
Skills: DIY, fixing televisions, wiring
studios, cooking

Former East 17 star Brian Harvey is hoping to follow in the footsteps of jungle star Peter Andre by reviving his singing career off the back of the show.

Brian says he has been after a record deal for some time and, now that he is taking part in the show, doors have been opened to him.

But despite Peter's success - he re-released Mysterious Girl and the track Insania also topped the charts - Brian thinks the singer was too cheesy!

Despite his background as a singer Brian isn't planning any camp fire ditties: "I'm not going to sit in a circle and have a sing-a-long. If that's what they think, it ain't happening."

"More than likely, while I'm just getting on with the day, I'll probably be singing to myself. But I'm not going to go there and make a show out of it - that's not me."

Brian isn't worried about the other people in the camp and what they might think of him.

"All I'm going to do is go in there and be me. If people like me, they like me.

"If they don't, f*** 'em. There's nothing I can do to change it. You can't like everyone!"

Brian sounds like a perfect camp manager, then...

BRIAN'S TEARS FOR HIS GRAN

FORMER East 17 star Brian Harvey broke down in tears yesterday talking about his gran who died last week.

He told the Bush Telegraph: "There's only one thing that's getting on top of me. It's one thing... the obvious I suppose."

Wiping away the tears, he added: "I don't care what anybody thinks. I don't care... it's overpowering."

His grandmother Betty Nabb died as he travelled out to Australia for the show.

Later he cried quietly into a hanky, and was comforted by Antonio Fargas.

Brian told him: "I know she wanted me to do it, but it's pressure man, it's pressure. It's so hard.

"You get off the plane, you get the phonecall and then you come straight in here and show it to 16million people."

Brian: " I don’t mind ending it on a fart.” ::lol:: ::lol::

He's out!

A tired, hungry and unrepentant Brian made peace with his fellow celebs before saying his final goodbyes and walking out of the camp after a row with Janet over flatulence.

It had all blown up over dinner when Janet again told him off for breaking wind near the cooking. It was the last straw for Brian who had been threatening to leave all day.

After Natalie had only won two stars, the hungry celebrities were having to make do with meagre rations of catfish and a carrot when Brian delivered the final, decisive blow.

Janet shouted: “Don’t do that when we are cooking, it’s so inappropriate!”

A tired and hungry Brian pleaded: “Oh come off it man.”

But Janet wouldn’t let it go and Brian snapped, shouting: “You are on the f**king other side man. Stop having a go at me for farting man. For f**k’s sake!”

Janet tried to speak but Brian shouted her down. “No, no. Don’t keep f**king telling me what to do. If I want to fart, I’ll fart. I’m nowhere near the f**king food… I’m sick of people having a go at me,” he screamed before throwing a knife onto the jungle floor.

After the intervention of Fran and Huggy, Brian appeared to calm down, lit a cigarette and sat down by the fire.

But when dinner was nearly ready Brian stood up, removed his hat and tore off his microphone saying: “I’m outta here, right f**king now.”

The other celebs didn’t seem to notice until he threw his battery pack on the bed.

Paul tried to assure him that dinner was not far off but packing his kit up Brian replied: “F**k the dinner. Enjoy it.”

He then shouted: “I’m a celebrity, get me the f**k out of here… now! I’ve had enough of this b**locks.”

Grabbing his pack, Brain hugged Joe and said sorry to Janet.

But Janet hugged him saying: “It’s all right… take care of yourself. You know I love you.” To which Brian replied: “I know.”

The remaining celebs looked on as he hugged Sophie, with Paul saying to him: “Give me a bell.”

He said his last goodbyes to the group and walked out with Huggy.

On the walk up to the Bush Telegraph they met Nat and Nancy and Brian let them know he was leaving.

He hugged them both and then entered the Telegraph.

On leaving the camp, Brian said: “I’m just really looking forward to getting outta here now. Still, what an ending!”

“I’ve done my peacemaking on the way out. I don’t mind ending it on a fart.”

MODEL Emma B yesterday vowed to wed singer Brian Harvey — who has sensationally quit TV’s I’m A Celebrity.

They revealed plans yesterday to hold a fairytale wedding — and try for a baby.

The couple enjoyed a steamy reunion at a hotel and Emma, 25, told The Sun: “We fell into each other’s arms and held on tight. Brian wouldn’t let me go.

“He’s my soulmate, the love of my life. The bed felt so empty without him, I couldn’t wait to spend the night wrapped up with him.

“We are going to settle down, get married and have kids.

“I can’t wait. We try every night. Brian’s a great lover and we’ve got a great sex life.”

The ex-East 17 star has met Emma’s dad, who lives in Australia, for the first time.

Emma, who has been with Brian, 30, for 3½ years, revealed: “He could be asking for my hand in marriage. I trust him with my life. Brian could be in a room with 20 naked women and I wouldn’t be jealous. I would honestly take a bullet for him, and he’d do the same for me.”

It was the first time Emma had seen Brian since his gran Betty died last week. The singer used to care for her at her flat.

He nearly didn’t go into the jungle when dad Ian broke the news of her death after waiting for his son to land in Brisbane.

Emma added: “Those were the worst hours of my life. It was awful knowing that Brian hadn’t been told. I wanted to get on a plane and cuddle him. When he heard he could barely speak he was crying so hard.

“He loved her so much — she brought him up.”

TV chiefs laid on grief counsellors for the star — who paid secret visits to the Bush Telegraph to see them every day.
