Actor Antonio Fargas agreed to take part in I’m A Celebrity… without even having seen an episode of the show.
The star, who played Huggy Bear in the 1970’s series Starsky and Hutch, is worried that, if he watches the tape of the show that the programme makers sent him, he may change his mind.
He says: “I haven’t seen any of it. I have the tapes sitting here and I’ve told the producers that it’s sort of not fair because all the British celebrities have seen the show and I’m the only one who hasn’t seen it.
“But I said I didn’t want to be put off by anything that happened, so I was going to wait until I decided to actually do the show before I watched it. Now I might not watch it at all and just go in and be fresh.”
Antonio says he will be able to handle any situation in the jungle by talking his way out of it.
“I think being cool, calm and collected and practical, and being able to talk your way out of any situation, or think your way out of any situation, is going to be my greatest asset.”
But will his street-talk be better left in the urban-jungle…
