FUNNYMAN Vic Reeves has joined sexy wife Nancy Sorrell in the Australian jungle in a surprise twist in TV show I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!

The wacky star of Shooting Stars has jetted Down Under to join his underwear model wife Nancy Sorrell and the other nine celebrities to sweat it out in the Bush for the ITV programme.

A spokeswoman for the ITV1 show said this morning: “I can confirm that Vic Reeves is in the jungle."

But she would not reveal when Vic arrived at the camp at Murwillumbah, near Brisbane on Australia’s east coast.

What's in store for the zany comedian and whether he can be voted off or face a Bush Tucker trail is also being kept under wraps.

But Essex girl Nancy, 30, who is the face and figure of sexy lingerie store Ann Summers, gave her hubby a warm welcome.

Before entering the jungle camp, the busty model, who wed Reeves a year-and-half-ago, reportedly said she would miss daily steamy sex sessions with her fella while in the jungle.

Yesterday the jungle stars were left baffled when an extra large bed was moved into a treehouse they have built.

But spokesmen for the show would not reveal whether or not the stunt was intended to stir passions between Sorrell and her newly-arrived husband.

I didn't agree with Jeff going into the BTR house one person from that family in there was enough. :puke:

Likewise on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here........I don't think it is a good idea that Vic is joining the group. Nancy was doing well and I think Vic's inclusion will ruin any chance she had of winning.

Mouthy Janet wasted no time in giving Vic Reeves a tongue-lashing, just hours after his arrival – pressing him and wife Nancy on their ulterior motives.

The outburst came after a discussion Janet had with Paul in which she accused the former royal butler of being a “media *****” for writing columns for a tabloid newspaper after the things the press have written about him.

Paul defended his actions by saying that writing for the papers was his way of controlling what stories are printed about him.

But Janet wouldn't be bowed, arguing that he shouldn't trust anyone in the industry and went on to share her views about what she sees as the tabloids' power to wreck people's lives.

Her attention then turned to Nancy and husband Vic.

“So who are you selling your story to?” she asked.

A shocked Nancy replied that they hadn't agreed to talk to any newspapers – because hubby Vic wouldn't be interested.

But Janet refused to accept this and, true to form, refused to let the subject lie.

HOWEVER they did say on This Morning (I only watched the im a celeb bit honest :oops:

) that she knew all along he was gonna go in!
