The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time - Mark Haddon

Non-Fiction
A Short History of Nearly Everything - Bill Bryson
The Bookseller of Kabul - Asne Seierstad
Fast Food Nation - Eric Schlosser

I enjoyed the curious incident too. I have also enjoyed books by Nicholas Sparks in the last few months.
