I thought Sharon was very harsh tonight but I suspect she has reason.

I don't think the final was the time to say those things...by that stage they should praise or not comment imo.

Saying that i have never taken to Steve ...just not into smarming types and he had always struck me as a bit false.

As for G4, i hated them at the start of the series but I have to say tonight i love all of their performances a lot more than Steve's...especially the last one.

I don't really think any time was the right time to say the things she said. I wouldn't have minded if she said something about him forgetting the words to the song (which he did and she never mentioned) or even if she thought his performance was shite because as judges, they are there to judge the performances and are entitled to their own opinions. She just got downright personal. Totally uncalled for, and the dig about him calling his girlfriend a volvo (which, even if he did, I'm sure would be a joke, just like my bloke called me an Alfa Romeo...look ok for a few years then look sh1t) was just a cheap jibe to hopefully make his female fans think 'oh what a b'stard we won't vote for him now' had absolutely bugger all to do with his performance and if her verbal rant at the end, whch also had bugger all to do with his performance swung it for him then that makes me even happier. It might teach her not to be so gobby in the future.
