STRICTLY Come Dancing winner Jill Halfpenny has landed the starring role in the smash-hit musical Chicago.
Her job offer was revealed as BBC1 bosses celebrated beating the X Factor in Saturday’s TV ratings showdown.
Former EastEnders star Jill bowled over theatre producers with her performances on Strictly Come Dancing.
And when they found out she could sing too they signed her up straight away.
She will replace ex-Brookside babe Jennifer Ellison, who bowed out last week.
Jill, 29 — who partnered Darren Bennett — said last night: “I’m starting in Chicago as Roxy Hart in January. I’ll be in it for three months. I love singing and dancing and this is a dream role for me.”
The sexy brunette has also been offered TV and advertising deals which could earn her £1MILLION next year.
