Has anyone been to see the film version of this? I enjoyed it at the theatre and wondered if the film is any good?

I really fancy watching this. Have seen Phantom about four times at the theatre over the years so am interested in seeing how it translates to screen :D

It is excellent! I went to see it last Wednesday and it's definitely a "wow" film. Made me want to go see a show NOW!

Milly and Cheekiechickie I really enjoyed the show as well, it is one of my favourite musicals. I would love to go and see it again.

Thanks Scotslass, so the film has got the wow factor :D -good. I must say the trailers I have seen look good, and the sets and costumes look stunning, can't wait to go and see it now. I love it when the phantom sings the Music of the night. Its is one of my all time favourite songs.

Totally agree Milly I love that duet. Whenever I hear it, it makes me comeover all romantic :oops: . The lyrics are wonderful and really match the music to make it a tender song. I love the emotion of it, espcially when the phantom sings his bit at the end.
