What were your favourite movies of 2004?

Here's mine.

1 Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.

Kate Winslett and Jim Carrey both deserve Oscars for their roles in this but neither will win unfortunately.

2 21 Grams

Sean Penn proving he just gets better as an actor as he gets older.

3 Fahrenheit 9/11

Made me think, prolly just polarised my view though ;)

4 Shaun of the dead.

Great P*ss take of the original which is cool in itself.

5 Bridget Jones, Edge of reason

It's a chick flick but hey I liked it a lot :D

My picks of the year are ,but not in any order of preference.

Taking Lives.
Twisted.
Fahrenheit 9/11
Control Room (a must if you have seen Fahrenheit 9/11. Iraq as seen by the Arab nations via Al-Jazeera.)
Day After Tomorrow.
After The Sunset.
Laws of attraction.
Wimbledon.

A couple that seemed a good idea at the time but didn't live up to expectations.

Dogville.
Anything Else.

As I said above you should also see 'Control Room' as it goes perfectly with Ferenheit 9/11. But as far as I know it's only available on Region 1 DVD (USA).
Check here for the decscription
