I'd much sooner do BB6 ,if they decide to run a sixth time.

If you think I'm bad then checkout Pablo on Jokersupdates.com
(http://www.jokersupdates.com/ubbthreads ... ernational)
I don't know his age but it sounds like all he does is watch BB and subscribe to the feeds.

It's harder these days to follow the international shows are they are trying more and more to stop people outside the country of origin from watching and there are very few free satellite feeds though there are sometimes ways around this.
But I have to admit that Uk BB5 wasn't my favoutite show which meant I only really watched the Friday night shows which also lessens the ediction to the format so without some good feeds the interest starts to die away. And the brief glimpes of the Bulgarian show and the Spanish did help to fire things a little more but the Italian show would have been ideal if it wasn't for the service provider securing the encryption on the Sat Package just before the show started and the webfeeds being limited to Italians with IP checking and then asking for you tax codes ,once you got around the IP address ,before allowing subscription to them for only 5 Euros !
I think also access to the French Star Academy is also temporary unavailable so we'll just have to see how long this channel remains available.
The Albanian channel was only found after I left another sat receiver to do a blind search of the satellite when I went to work this morning.
A blind search means that you tell the receiver where to search from and to with the symbol rate limits and it looks for transponders before searching the transponder it finds for channels.
A Transponder is a transmission containing one or more channels.

Thought an explaination of some of the terms might be useful.

Further observations.

The 'house' appears to be in a high rise building maybe flats ? Two of the girls are currently sitting on the terrace and you can see the other buildings below.
They also have a very camp guy with a voice very similar to Marco. He seems very good at hairdressing and appears to be getting on very well with the female contestants.

The satellite channel is shared with at least one other channel and the adverts are annoying as the airline one is at least twice the volume level of the main show and the other ads.

It would be nice at times to know what they are talking about.

One other thing is that you get to see the main show as they change from the feed in the house to the studio and you get to see the diary room.

Now why can't we have a FREE channel for our BB ? They could have one free channel plus other you pay for. EG a free directors choice channel and the others where you can select what you watch on different channels. I think it was the Swedish BB that used this idea on the webfeeds were the directors feed was free but you paid to access the rest.

Oh in case you think I've gone completely mad I'm off work with some form of cold so haven't got much else to do than play satellite and as there aren't any interesting feeds this seems a good choice.

They have changed the FEC in the digital parameters
It was 3/4 but has changed to 7/8.

I had thought that the package had gone but a search on satcodx.com revealed the change.

Happy viewing.

Looks like there might be a web feed.

http://syri-magjik.com/live.jsp

This gives a username and password to use.
Clicking the link takes you to

http://80.78.67.127

And a pop-up screen asking for username and password.

Also looks like there is a voting SMS number for the UK 82050 message I think should be the number of the contestant your voting for.
They are

4 - Marsida
5 - Redin
8 - Gjergjin

My pleasure ,it keeps me out of trouble though at this rate I'll soon sound like Pablo which might not be a good thing. It's one thing being knowledgable but there comes a point where you can start to sound obcessive.
Though my thoughts on the subject relate to the study of how different people from very different backgrounds and origins cope under the strain of Big Brother. I think the biggest outletting of emotion after their release on meeting fans has got to be the Spanish which was far beyond what would have been allowed here as they (the 3 finalists) were all allowed lots of physical contact with the crowd ,which the ground crew seemed unable to control. Though the levels of almost hysterical emotional behaviour were highest with the 3rd placed contestant and decreased with the each following contestant. Though even the winner was allowed excessive crowd contact and even took a glass of what I guess was champain from someone in the crowd ,which todays society was risky as someone could have added harmful substances to it.

Brains not in full gear yet so expect there are some typos in the above.

Have a good Christmas everybody and I'll try and catch the final of the Albanian show which is in the next couple of days ,which I'll report on the results.

OK ,I think the program finished last night but the channel had problems for most of the evening. When it did reappear for a very short period the main show was running and they were showing highlights of the previous day. But there hasn't been any BB footage since about 1730 (Sat 25th) and now the channel has another channel running with the id Vizion Plus. On top of that the homepage also appear to have gone. But it hadn't been updated later last night.

I'l have a look on jokers to see if anybody was following it.

To my surprise shortly before I had to go out this afternoon the program reappeared so I left the recorder going to get the show.
They still had problems with the transmission with no sound for a long time plus periods where the signal disappeared but I got the important bits.

3 rd was Redi
2 nd was Gjergjin
1 st was Marsida

Unfortunately the transmission switched to another show before the winner left the house ,but it wouldn't mattered as my disc ran out shortly afterwards.

Now the question is do I trust by recorder to finalize the disc or do I use ISO Buster Pro to grab the files off the unfinized disc ? No readable disc no pictures.

So next up is Spanish GHVIP 2 and UK CBB3 ,now I wonder which will be more interesting ? Not long before we findout.
