ALL you need to know about this year’s Celebrity Big Brother is that the show’s Germaine Greer “always sleeps naked”.

That the Express should bury this tantalising gem of information in the centre of a lengthy piece about how this series will be a “celebrity bloodbath” (we can only hope), is an oversight.

Germaine is a singularly attractive woman who needs no gimmicks - like a model’s figure (Caprice), a seductive voice (Lisa I’Anson) or a pair of what she may terms “**** me shoes” - to have men running.

News of her guaranteed nudity should be in the headlines. It’s not, and instead we get the Sun celebrating the fact that Greer’s fellow celeb, “busty blonde” Brigitte Nielsen, has “threatened” to take her kit off on air.

“I’ll be cooking,” says the 41DD actress, “and then I will lose an item of clothing and keep going until there’s a very tasty dish on offer.” But would anyone have the stomach to eat it?

However, while the muscular Dane does something experimental with her meatballs, the Star says that Caprice intends to go one better – she plans to “go for it”.

And, yes, “it” is sex - at least in the Star’s fevered mind, as it uses its front page to scream: “CELEB BIG BRO: £50k A BONK.”

Star readers able to tear their eyes away from a cover shot of Caprice a in leopard print bra and knicker set, and able to read, learn that the show’s contestants have been made an offer: “Have sex on the show and we’ll give you a £50,000 bonus.”

Which begs the questions as to whom Caprice will do her “it-ing” with? Since we know the American model to be one for the men, her choice seems to be limited.

There’s actor Jeremy Edwards, Happy Monday’s shoegazer Bez, a boy band singer called Kenzie (warning: he may be below the age of consent) and John McCririck.

While TV’s Mr Tic-Tac McCririck looks at the thrusting blonde’s firm to soft going and works out the odds on Caprice boosting her bank balance with each of the boys, we consider another option.

Caprice could take one look at the female eunuch and seize an opportunity. And who could blame her..?

If Jeremy's ears were burning, he didn't stir from his beauty sleep, as late-night stalwarts Brigitte, John, Bez and Kenzie discussed what a jolly nice chap he is.

"He's really cute," she commented of the sensible 33-year-old.

"Never heard of him, never seen him," John shrugged, as he professed to boycotting TV soaps.
Bez and Kenzie chipped in, observing what a nice guy he is. And all agreed he's got a good chance of winning the show. "He's easy-going, nobody hates him..." summarised John.
"He's REALLY good-looking," said Brigitte, reiterating her point.

"But he does look like Tim Henman," John said, as if to persuade her otherwise.

"When I saw [Jeremy] on the the screen," he burbled, "I thought, 'f*** me, Tim Henman's got in!'"

Words of wisdom from Brigitte

Brigitte got in touch with her inner psychoanalyst last night as she told the group she'd been observing their early morning habits in an attempt to understand their characters.

They were keen to hear her theories - and share some of their own.

She described Lisa as "an awakener with a positive style."

"Thanks," said Lisa with some surprise, adding "I'm a moody cow."

"Caprice, she's definitely wanting to stay in bed... just doing her thing... but being respectful," Brigitte continued earnestly.

She then told Kenzie he's a nightmare, and described Bez as "a coma situation".

"Is coma worse than nightmare?" Kenzie asked with some concern, eager to assure Brigitte he would always get out of bed if asked.

The observant Dane hadn't had a chance to deconstruct Jeremy and Germaine's morning routines, but the group had their own insights into their personalities.

Kenzie admitted to finding reserved gent Jeremy a bit boring. "He's quality though," he added quickly.

Then the gang took the opportunity to share their admiration for Germaine.

"She's really been like a nan to me," said Kenzie warmly, "Her intelligence level is embarrassing to me - I've got 'nuff respect for her."

"Don't you want to just take as much as you can from her?" gasped Caprice in total agreement.

Still in philosophical mode, Brigitte told them the most important thing was to just be themselves - "If you've got the balls."

"If we... open up our hearts..." she urged dreamily. "I think we are a good team and we are sticking together," she concluded.

Possibly due to flagging enthusiasm for Carpet Ball, the housemates reflected on their lives as celebrities as they were gathered on the sofas this evening.

Caprice sparked off the conversation by revealing how she didn't really like dressing up, preferring jeans and a t-shirt to any fancy evening gown.

"Is it a rebellion to what you do?" asked a confused Lisa. "No, This is just how I am," she explained. "I was a bit of a tomboy as a kid."

Apparently Caprice's image only changed when she became successful and she's a simple girl at heart. "I started to believe my own hype," she admitted.

Lisa nodded sympathetically, saying she had seen a lot of people get carried away by their success but admired those who could pull through it. "You see how things can change for you. We'll be perceived as people trying to revive our careers by a lot of people."

Minor or major?


But Lisa doesn't seem too concerned what happens career-wise once she leaves the House. "I know I'm a minor celebrity," she grinned. "I love it. I embrace it."

Just being in the House is a thrill for Lisa. "It's immensely flattering to be asked," she gushed.

"Naomi Campbell said no so they picked me," she added cheekily.

An exasperated Caprice

There could be a distinct chill in the air this morning as the gang have decided they've had enough of John's rude and stroppy antics.

He spent yesterday afternoon sulking about there being no cola or milk, refusing to talk to any of his concerned housemates.

Sympathy levels varied - but Brigitte was clear she was done being nice.

"He doesn't want help. He was rude to the people that walked out to him... he excluded himself," she fumed.

"When he's not feeling well, we're all thinking about him," she seethed. "I'd like to see him ONE time think about all of us."

She was particularly annoyed at Lisa, who's approach had softened to the point of asking Big Brother to keep an eye on him.

"If someone gets upset 'cos they ain't got milk, they need our help!" Lisa explained. "I felt sorry for him."

But neither Brigitte or Caprice were moved.

Lisa sticks the knife in


"He's not a team player, he's often not very nice to look at, and whenever he wants, he's gross towards people in what he says," exclaimed Brigitte, "It's extremely upsetting."

Lisa tried to argue John was out of his depth.

"He has no friends... he's had a woman look after him his whole life," she implored. "Now he has eight people to hang out with, he doesn't know what he's doing!"

Brigitte disagreed. "He's so calculated, it's scary," she said simply.

When she proposed confronting him, Lisa begged her not to, saying the towering blonde would "eat him for breakfast".

As they pondered why John was so content to dish out insults, the group agreed Brigitte had him figured; "When you do not like yourself, you don't really have the possibility to love anyone or respect anyone," she said gravely.

"It's the only way he knows," said Lisa with a frown.

Things could be about to get ugly...

FRANK McAVENNIE lost out on a £30,000 pay day when Celebrity Big Brother pulled the plug on him being a housemate.

The former Scotland, Celtic and West Ham star admits he has big regrets but not about the money - he's disappointed he won't be sharing a jacuzzi with busty blondes Caprice and Brigitte Nielsen.

Frank, 45, groaned: 'That should have been me!'

But today Frank has landed another job - as our official Big Brother correspondent.

He reveals, right, who he thinks is likely to be a hit with viewers... and who will be first for the boot.

And Frank admits he has been hooked by the celebrities' antics - especially Brigitte and Caprice frolicking in the spa bath on their first night in the house.

He said: 'I couldn't believe Brigitte got her kit off so quickly.

'I was mad because every time Brigitte went to show her boobs the camera moved away. Is that what they mean about Big Brother being evil?

'I couldn't stop laughing when Bez jumped in wearing his boxer shorts because it's exactly what I'd have done.'

Frank thought he was guaranteed a place in the house after meeting producers but the offer disappeared.

He said: 'I'd heard Caprice is getting paid over £100,000 to take part but the others had been offered about £30,000.

'Maybe that's why people have dropped out. I'm sure model Victoria Silvstedt pulled out because she was disappointed I wouldn't be there.'

BEZ DEFINITELY my favourite to win. He's got a brilliant personality - he's nuts.

I love the fact he's in there to get the money to buy a new car and he cracked open the wine as soon as he arrived. I think I would have got on well with him.

Bez's only problem might be that he's a bit hyper but that might change after a few days detox.

GERMAINE SHE'S the only one I wouldn't get on with. Who is she, anyway? She looks like someone's mum.

She said she was worried she might pull one of the housemates. Can you imagine it?

I hear she's a feminist professor. Very good. But if she got into the jacuzzi with Brigitte and Caprice, I'd switch off the telly.

She's my bet for the first to be evicted.

JOHN I'D love to be there so he could teach me the sign language bookies use at racecourses. I reckon I could have learned a lot from him in two weeks.

I think his behaviour is all an act but it's a good act and he'll do alright. He's pretending he wants to be voted out, which means he wants to stay. I could see him having a bit of a set-to with Brigitte.

BRIGITTE

SHE terrifies me but makes the programme worth watching.

She's not my type at all - far too scary - but she's totally crazy and she's going to be good fun.

I don't know why she keeps doing that stupid wee move with pretend guns. It's embarrassing.

But she's got an opinion on everything and I think she'll clash with Germaine, which will be good for a laugh. Odds: 16/1

JEREMY

I ONLY know his face because I saw pictures of him when he was with Rachel Stevens.

He'll be popular with the ladies 'cos he's a bit of a glamour boy and he says he's a practical joker.

The only potential for any love action at all is between him and Caprice. So I don't think he'll win it but he won't be one of the first out either. Odds: 9/4

LISA ALL I know about her is that she got sacked from Radio 1 for partying too hard and failing to turn up for her show - that's a good effort in my book.

I missed training a couple of times myself when I lived in London so she's a girl after my own heart.

If she relaxes and lets the party girl come out, she'll survive a few evictions. Odds: 25/1

KENZIE

I LIKE him a lot. He reminds me of wee Joe Miller, right, who I played with at Celtic.

He's got the kind of face that make women want to mother him.

Brigitte wants to look after him but I think he'd probably prefer Caprice. The others made him do a bit of dancing on the first night and it looked a bit like Jonathan Watson impersonating me.

I would have taken him under my wing as he's a good lad and he's enjoying every minute. I predict he'll be in the top three.

CAPRICE

#DEFINITELY going to be in 'til the end... and thank God for that. She is so fit. When she got into the jacuzzi there wasn't an ounce of her hanging the wrong way.

Brigitte stripped off and got in first so Caprice wasn't going to let her get all the attention to herself.

If they both decide to do that every night for a couple of weeks, I'll be going to sleep happy.
