Like Many people I always thought Bridget was a bit of a cow after reading things about her in the paper, indeed Caprice and Lisa even said they dreaded Bridget coming in but now that they know her they like her, and that she was not what they expected.

Bridget did say BEFORE Jackie arrived that a lot of horrible nasty things were said about her in the papers when she divorced Sly, and it is said that a lot of this was stuff Jackie had said about her (alledgedly even Sly was embarresed by some of the things Jackie said about Bridget in the media).

I think putting Jackie in the house is a very irresponsible thing to do if indeed she is as unpleasant as it would appear and has caused Bridget so much upset in the past. Bridget left that unpleasant part of her life 2 decades past and BB have gone and brought it back again only this time live on national TV for the sake of getting ratings.

Does anyone agree with me on this?

I agree E13lad and I also think making her do things like warm up the loo seat is totally degrading. I know they are getting paid thousands but I still think they should draw the line. Ex mother in laws can be difficult enough without the added extra that they have. I am really struggling with CBB this year as I look at the Tsunami and how people are breaking their backs to rebuild a life and over here people are behaving like stupid arrogant tw*ts over diet coke. I just find it all a bit bad taste, but then I guess I am being a miserable cow :-? :(

BB was irresponsible when they let Emma & Michelle see what the other housemates said about them in BB5, and then let them back into the house, and it's done the same putting Jackie in.

Not many women would relish having their current mother-in-law with them in the BB house - let alone their ex-mother-in-law who has criticised them in a public arena.

No one will die, no one will suffer permanent trauma, Brigitte will have a couple of days of discomfort and that's it. I think it's hilarious.

I like Bridget too and think BB is being very unfair to her BUT it is evil BB and what we want to watch on tv.

I think it was a very cruel thing to do putting Jackie in there knowing that her and Bridget hate each other (well they did in the past) Bridget has been very dignified about the whole thing and no one could blame her if she were to walk out.

Personally, can't stand either of them so the sooner they go the better. As for being Big Brother being evil, are we actually going to see anything remotely evil or are they building up to something??

BEZ TO WIN!!

I think C4 are sailing very close to the wind. No doubt by way of heavy editing and biased commentary they will be able to convince the Great British public that everything is hunky dory.

I'm sure the only people who would disagree with your post are the people who got Jackie mobile enough to get her into the BB house.
The only thing I would add is, they all sign up for the gig and if it doesn't turn out to their advantage they usually have a whinge about it.
Brigitte is it would seem is now fine about Jackie being in the house, she hasn't walked out, imo she is just scared the daft old bird is going to spill the beans about her and rake up any arguments they might have had.
Other then that they seem to be getting on fine.

I disagree with the personal trauma statement.
Jackie has said poisonous things about Bridget in the past publicly calling her a hooker and gold digger and many peoples perception of Bridget have been very negative. Many people were surprised to see Bridget as she is in the house and if Jackie is going to start spitting poison then the press will jump on it. Bridget is now happy with her partner and kids and they are her main concern.

Imagine your kids at school being taunted because you are splashed over the papers being made out to be a monster. Imagine the pressure on not just an individual but on a relationship when this kind of s**t hits the fan.

BB have put Jackie in to do just this for entertainment purposes and that is dispicable.

Bridget has had an unpleasant past thanks to this woman and 20 years later BB bring her back into Bridgets life. You may think it's hilarious but put yourself in Bridgets shoes.
