I thoroughly enjoyed the Extra shows hosted by Brian. I think he just gets better and better.

The celebs this year seemed very cheekie, especially Jono Coleman, but Brian coped well with them. It seems to me that Claire Sweeney had the easier job as she watched them from her seat in the castle and directed them to their various challenges and investigations. Brian had to cope with handling them in interviews and historically themed games when they were all relaxed and intent on being naughty.

Judging from the sheer number of texts a lot of the audience agreed - I would reckon 80% of the text shown during the Extra shows praised Brian.

I didn’t see the extra show this time. I wasn’t a great fan of his work last time. But most of my criticisms where content not technique, once I accepted he was never going to discuss anything seriously it was ok to watch in a light entertainment manner and from what you say he has obviously improved with practice.

Indeed from what I saw of the live feed 12 to 2 am the Celebes where praising of Brian who most had met on the way there on the train. I can see that he would be much more fun to be interviewed by than Clair who has a more bullying way with her.

Anyway I am glad to hear that you liked that part of the event, despite my whinny ramblings above I too enjoyed it and emailed Living my sugestions and wishes that the event happens again.
