Tory MP Peter Luff condemned their programme Dick And Dom In Da Bungalow for its "lavatorial" content.
But Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell told him it was "the BBC's job to determine standards".
Radio 2's Jonathan Ross was criticised for showing bias against fox-hunting.
Fellow presenter Jeremy Vine was also rapped for an interview with a guest about paying for sex.
