she is doing ok, getting praise for her performances (I still think she looks a little tense when she performs) but she just doesn't seem to smile or accept the praise. Come on Kim you are quite capable so just relax and SMILE ${

She looked out of it last night!!!

I think her mum said she is a bit of a worrier so maybe the competition is getting to her. The have had to do a lot in a very short space of time.

Well she was a better singer than Debra or dawn by far so if he has been bigging her up then I can understand why...although I think she has had her fair share of cristicism I feel. Debra voice in particular I didn't warm to ..it was ok but not my cup of tea....although she can definitely sing.

I like it when Kim and Debra sang a duet. I felt the differences in their voices really complimented each other.

If any of these people are thinking of releasing songs in the future I think the four girls that could sing would work well as a duet, trio or quartet (ie Kim, Edith, Dawn and Debra)

I didn't mean she didn't deserve to be biged up. what I meant was she was really complimented and was told she would be good competition in the final but still looked really unhappy. Sorry I didnt explain my self very well :D

it must be pretty stressful and tiring though

I think that she just found it hard to believe. Some people don't find it easy to accept praise and get embarrassed by it.

Kim's problem???? ${

She's an out of work, ex-Eastender actress with a stage school background. :-?
F.A is her window of opportunity to exploit her "talents" to the widest possible audience , and ger a part in Chicago, or another West End show. :-?
...see also Jill Halfpenny and Come Dancing, and Jennifer Ellison and Hell's KItchen. :-?

...she's taking it seriously cos it's her career-lifeline :-?

The lot of them will benefit from their participation in the show. At least Kim like her ex Eastender mate Jill Halfpenny are able to sing/dance and deserve any break they get, imo.

And what is wrong in doing something that helps your career...especially if you are helping chaity in the meantime. I have never understood why people are criticised for this. It's their career, their livelihood, their means of looking after their families and paying the mortgage...should they turn down it down if the opportunity arises...would anyone here turn down a promotion if the only stipulation was you had to do some charity work. :-?

I say good luck to anyone who is brave enough to do this kind of thing ..whether it be Fame Academy, Pop Idol or Big Brother!
