land line vote lines close at 7.00pm

Mobile votes only

Kim sings her song but viewers get no time to vote for her as they close the text lines straight after she stops singing giving a clear 5 min advantage to edith to catch more votes as she sang first . :-?

Yes, I thought that as well. I really hope that Edith doesn't win.

I am thrilled Edith won.. she had a lot of support, everyone I spoke to in 'real life' wanted her to win, she had a fab voice from the first night, a really gutsy style.

That is not to say Kim didn't have a good voice because she did. But Edith was my preference. :D

err I started this thread to emphasis the ineptness yet again of the FA organisers.. as a charity event it didnt matter, but imagine if it was a career thing and you sing your heart out and just when you finish the song and people who like you reach for the phone they shut the lines and stop you winning how gutted would you be.. thou as Hippo pointed out Edith did have a miming session early on so balances it a bit

I thought FA just fizzled out...I think they would have been better having the final night on the thurday not squashed in as a filler!

Yea i know what you mean,,, or at least kept the same venue and not crushed themselves into half the area on TV centre set. Yet again you see bad organisation,, it was probably a woman in charge :angel: :angel: :angel: :angel: ::lol:: ::lol:: ::lol:: ::lol::
