Alex, Sandy and Alison have been nominated for eviction from the Big Brother house.

The first round of nominations took place yesterday with Alex getting six votes and Alison and Sandy with four votes each.

They will now put to the public vote, with the evictee being announced live on Friday night's Channel 4 show at 8.30pm.

Alex said he was most worried about being up against his friend Sandy.

The pair have formed an alliance over house hygiene issues and the consumption of alcohol.

He added he didn't think Alison had been prepared for eviction whereas he and Sandy had expected to be nominated.

Alex told the other housemates: "I was expecting it but it's got an added twist to it. I don't want to stay in here just because the voters might be female orientated."

The housemate chosen for eviction will be given just over an hour to pack their possessions and say their goodbyes.
