If pop madman Michael Jackson thought he at least had mainstream London radio station Heart FM on his side, he'd be wrong: the blando-pop broadcasters are playing Big Brother and have dumped Jacko from their daytime playlist for fear of offending listeners.

As Jackson's tawdry sex abuse trial drags on in California, Heart FM bosses worry that playing his toons during peak times, such as during the breakfast slot, will upset a large number of their audience, such as young families and kids.

They are keen to point out that Mad Mike's music hasn't been banned altogether, just carefully rescheduled, so that us toughies who might listen to the radio, gasp, at night-time and DON'T start quaking at the mere sound of his whimpering voice can still hear him.

A source confirms, "We have rescheduled them at a time when parents and children aren't listening."
