Anyone watch this? Very interesting tv.

I watched it, it was really interesting and quite an eye-opener. It'd be easy to start worrying about things like that but i'd rather live in ignorance. There is nothing we can do so if it happens, it happens. No point wasting your life worrying about that kind of cataclysm in my opinion.

I have to say with thing like this I agree with Satriani. I have enough to worry about without worrying about the end of the world.

I tend not to watch this kind of thing as it can get me very depressed.
I remember after 9/11 I read everything tht was written and it really got to me. I used to go to bed feeling really scared about what the next day would bring. A lot was what I was going thru at the time but it took me months to feel better in truth....even now I struggle with sad things on the telly.

I stopped reading Nostrodamus too...don't think that was helping either

Well i thought the second part was pretty bad tonight. Still interesting enough but less of the cheese would have been better especially the ending...

Yeah Rick just had to be okay I'm with everyone else tho that you can't let things like this worry you or we'd all be in a right state! It might happen tomorrow it might happen in 100k years. We just have to get on with it really and take what comes.

Exactly. I'm more concerned about a house fire or getting knocked down by a bus than any super volcano.

Buses get a 'very bad press', don't they?

Poor things - they exist to help us. It's not like the bus goes for a drive just 'cos it's a nice sunny day or anything. They only run to serve the public - and yet we seem to think that any day now, they'll do us in.

I watched a bit of it, it got too depressing so a changed the channel, it was on about the effects on the human body depending how close you are to how good your chances are at being alive in the aftermath! pretty grim really!
