The search for the Loch Ness monster has come top of a poll to find Britain's favourite quest.
Many adventurers have unsuccessfully tried to locate the Scottish beast.
The hunt for the Lost City Of Atlantis was also popular. The amazing city, described by the philosopher Plato, apparently disappeared under the sea.
The mysterious Yeti also made the poll. The creature - said to be half-man half-beast - is fabled to roam the more remote areas of the planet.
A separate poll was held to find the nation's fave book involving a search - and JRR Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings topped that one.
CS Lewis' Chronicles Of Narnia and Alice In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll also did well.
