A six-week-old baby girl has been found abandoned on the doorstep of a house in north London.
A member of the public found the baby wrapped in a blanket in Thorpdale Road, Holloway, on Monday.
The baby, who has been named Christina by hospital staff, is said to be in a healthy condition.
A police spokesman said Christina was being "well cared for" but said it was "essential" they traced her mother as soon as possible so they can help her.

Det Insp Colin Welsh, from Islington's Child Protection Unit, said the woman who lived at the address discovered the baby after hearing her crying.
"There is nothing to suggest she knew the baby or the mother and it is impossible to establish whether the mother was local to the area or just passing through.
"We understand that the mother may well be frightened and distressed but we are here to offer every assistance."
He said Christina would remain in hospital until Thursday when she would be placed in temporary foster care.
