Water World
In yet another compelling evening's action, ex Brookside star Philip stretched his lead at the top of the men's leaderboard with a pristine Waterski Jump of 12.1 metres, while Lisa picked up her first win in the women's Rowing.
Philip has now won five out of six events in The Games, with Lisa closing the gap on Kirsty in the girls' competition.
With the dark of the night hanging over the Rother Valley Country Park, all ten celebrities demonstrated remarkable fortitude in attempting the somewhat staggering water sports.
Up first were the ladies, and the 120-metre Single Skulls started with a bang as Tamara veered off her lane and into the current of the camera boat.
Lisa had established a clear lead, but with Kirsty and latterly Mel closing in, the young singer showed fantastic composure to stroke her way to victory in a time of 53.30 seconds.
In an astonishing finale, Kirsty and Mel's boats collided barely inches from the line, although Kirsty recovered to finish joint second with Anna.
Indeed so devastating was the clash that Tamara edged out Mel in to fourth.
There was also drama in the men's Waterski Jump, as Chesney looked to have secured his inaugural triumph by landing his 9.2 metre leap.
With Danny, Craig and Kevin all failing to land properly, it was only Philip who could deny the popster.
And given his record in The Games, it can held as little surprise that the Scouser nailed his jump to earn all five points up for offer.
Tomorrow the athletes return to the English Institute for Sport for the boy's Cycling and the girl's Gymnastic Trampoline.
