hi
did you watch it then?

im too young to remember the original, but as a show/piece of entertainment, i thought it worked, if slightly undeserving of the hype

I thought it was ok...acting was a bit iffy in places and i didn't think Eccleston came across very convincingly as the Doctor at times, but overall it wasn't too bad. I think it'll get better.

Interesting directors method of using one camera only and making very long walking freestyle and unedited sequences.

overall not too shabby

I’m old enough to remember the original but I did think this was the best ever.

I’m glad it saw off Ant and Dec ::lol:: ::lol:: ::lol::

I enjoyed the new episode of Doctor Who. I especially liked the way Christopher Eccleston injected some humour into his doctor. Can't wait for the daleks episode.

There are some good pictures on the website DOG, am not totally sure about the new look for the inside of the tardis. :-? Still there have been no wobbling walls and they've still got the up and down thingy in the middle. :D

Sorry - but my vote goes to Ant and (the absolutely totally cute) Dec, tonight!

Not as good this week but still ok. Kids liked it :D

Not too sure about next weeks though...my eldest didn't like the trailer and is now too worried about going to bed in case he has a nightmare.
I will have to come up with a non scary explain if he is able to watch it ..bless

i thought the second one was weak. i doubt itll keep 10.5million viewers if the quality continues to drop

Dr Who beat Ant & Dec again last night according to overnight figures, although both shows were down in terms of number of viewers watching.

Dr Who - average 7.27 million viewers (36.05% share)
Saturday Night Takeway - average 6.02 million viewers (30.86% share)

Dr Who is down from 43.2% audience share, while I can't find what Ant and Dec was last week, but I think they haven't lost much.

Clocks going forward and fairly good weather obviously had an effect.

Suppose it didn't help Ant & Dec that they had the liar on last night

I know shows have got to move forward, but the thing I feel is missing in the new Doctor Who is the good old cliff hanger. I would be much more likely to keep tuning in to see what's going to happen next. Instead each story line is wrapped up, and you see half of next weeks one in trailers. Freaky trailer, this week it was too! :-?
