The only problem I would have I can't stand people who have children for the sake of it because it's the thing to do after they have got the husband, the nice house and car, then they try and get someone esle to look after the children until they are 18 then they leave home to go to uni, this mabye very exaggerated but alot of people have children without thought and consquence to how it will change you life completely!

I think the decision to have children is a bit more than about it being 'the thing to do' imo. Sorry chad but I completely disagree with what you are saying. It is such a massive sweeping generalisation about peoples decisions to become parents and I for one do not want to be included in your judgements as to how and when people decide to have a child. I can't believe people are being so uptight about Britney having a child and are already judging what type of mother she will be when she maybe a fantastic one. Why can't people just be pleased for her? ${

I personally think having kids younger is the way to go ..school age mind.

I am 37 and my youngest is 3 ...I don't even want to think what age I will be when they are all old enough to leave school and be independant.
If I had started at 20 they would certain be a lot more user friendly by now.

When all is said and done the reason some people say not to have kids young is coz it ties you when you could be enjoying your youth. I think however if you have a good chunk in the bank this really isn't so much an issue :D

it's up to her husband and her when they have children and how they decide to set up child care.

People are all blah de blah about women and men being equal, if for Britney to carry on with her career it requires a nanny then what harm will it do? It won't mean that the child is not loved, I mean there are plenty of kids that go to childminders from a few months old and nobody says a cross word.

people have been saying stuff about it at school and I think it is ridiculous. How can anyone presume that she will be a bad mother?

Maybe, because some of us happened to know some local Celebs - some of them are irresponsible what they do in a public eye and some of them are responsible. If they do something stupid (first category) it's their problem - but everybody knows that everywhere the very next day anyway, no matter what their friends say for them.

What I left for saying was that there are a lot of ordinary mothers in this world in ordinary relationships and they don't make such a noise about themselves - what they write about Britney's relationships and her carrying a baby - it happens all the time all over the world and that doesn't make her "special" in my eyes. After all (Elisabeth Rehn said that you'll have to remember that everybody goes to toilet, no matter what their titles are) if we all stand naked in line - nobody can't say who's really a celeb and who has got a some profession or a certain title. That's why I think that news from Britney are much talk about nothing. People can't believe that Finns are still having their Sauna's in this world and they ALL are naked in them no matter if you're child or elderly. That keeps your feet on the ground knowing what real life is no matter of the covers of the magazines. ;)

so britney has got pregnant and she is more than likely to get child care when shes at work but what is the differece between britney spears hiring a nanyy when shes at work and a normal mother who works 40 hours a week having a nanny? some people are making it sound like a disgrace that shes gonna have a nanny but some people have a baby and go back toworking full time days within a month. i cannit see what the problem is!

I have been a Nanny so I see it from the other side not everyone is like that, that they only have children because they think it's the thing to do after marriage and often they couldn't careless about the children and left for other people to bring up, I certainly know a few family's like that, I have come across in my career, and it's the one's that have far too much money for sense they a child because it's only the next stage than actually thinking it through.

I think in the majority of cases it is still unfair to say they couldn't care less about their children. I love my children very very much and I have also used childcare and it has NOTHING to do with the fact I 'couldn't care less'. It's important though to chose your child care carefully :D
