HAVE you ever wanted to see ex-Playboy model Victoria Silvstedt ripping former Sun Page 3 girl Leilani’s clothes off or Liberty X beauty Michelle Heaton rolling around with Big Brother stunner Kate Lawler?
Then Celebrity Wrestling is the TV show for you.
Hosted by X Factor’s Kate Thornton and wrestling superstar Rowdy Roddy Piper, the programme sees 12 celebrities split into two teams and put through their paces in a series of blistering bouts.
Michelle, Leilani, James Hewitt and TV presenters Jenny Powell, Jeff Brazier and Mark Speight make up The Crusaders, coached by former WWE intercontinental champion D-Lo Brown.
D-Lo’s fellow wrestler Joe Legend trains rival team The Warriors, whose members are Victoria, Kate, former tennis star Annabel Croft, showjumper Oliver Skeete, athlete Iwan Thomas and Mark Bannerman, who played Gianni Di Marco in EastEnders.
You can find out more about the celebrities, their experiences and the girls’ raunchy costumes by clicking each picture on the right.
Celebrity Wrestling, which has already been filmed, starts on ITV1 at 6.30pm this Saturday.
Kate Thornton told us: “As the show evolves people really do put friendships to one side – there is a lot of fighting, falling-out, dissing and bitching.
“There was no love loss between Kate Lawler and Leilani, Victoria and Jenny had a run-in and I know Annabel was really looking forward to taking points from Leilani.
“And among the boys there were some huge egos and ultimately that’s what they were fighting for - pride.”
She added: “There were lots of X-rays, slings and dislocations.
“Jenny had to have an operation on her knee, otherwise she would have found herself pretty inactive in a couple of year’s time, and virtually all the celebrities had to go to hospital at one point.
“I think the busiest members of the production team were Dr Tom and his team of physiotherapists and we’re now on first name terms with Hertfordshire’s A&E department.”
Roddy added: “I loved working with all these guys – because I don’t think American celebrities would put that much heart into it.
“The Americans would have backed out as soon as they found out how rough it was going to be.
“But these kids just jumped in there and went for each other - they forgot they were celebrities!”
