ALEX DRUG CONFESSION


ALEX Best battled a secret cocaine addiction as ex-husband George succumbed to booze.

She hid her habit from the fallen football legend because he was anti-drugs. Ex-air stewardess Alex, 33, said: "Initially I had taken it as a way of getting over jet lag. But when the Press found out about our liaison, I used it to deal with stress."

Her habit spiralled when she and George first split in 1994. She said: "I took it to help me forget about him. Instead of once a week it would be three times, instead of once a night it would be two or three times."

Alex, whose nine-year marriage failed last year, quit when friends told her her habit was getting serious.Mirror

She took it initially as a way of getting over jet lag. Enough said..

Alex didn't have much of a life with George Best, i personally think she is better off without him. And her doing the coke, i wouldn't be surprised if this was a way of coping being around George Best. His son Callum seems okay, but he's a pig with the women.
