At Heat nightclub over the weekend, a man was approaching women saying he would be on Big Brother, and using the excuse that he would be in the house for a few months without any female contact in an effort to get lucky.
CHANNEL 10 will be hoping the next instalment of Big Brother will be a ratings winner after a slow start to the year.
Execs had hoped The X-Factor audiences would jump as the show progressed, but with the final two contestants chosen, the show is still not performing well.
Monday night's show, where Vincent Harder was booted off, had a measly 189,000 viewers in Melbourne.
It doesn't seem to bother Harder, though. He is ecstatic to have been a part of the show.
Harder said yesterday that he was getting good vibes from Sony BMG about a record deal.
"They sound interested, but we'll have to wait and see," he said.
Harder defended his mentor, Kate Ceberano, against the barrage of criticism she's had.
"She's been awesome for me and she had a lot of belief in me," the father of one said.
"Even off stage we had heaps of cool times, because she's got a young child and we're both new parents."
