A FAST food advert encourages children to speak with their mouths full, worried parents have told a TV watchdog.

The Advertising Standards Authority has had 340 complaints about KFC's advert since it was launched over a week ago.

It features call centre workers singing while eating a Zinger salad.

A spokesman said: "They think it encourages bad manners among children, making it funny to speak with a mouth full of food."

LOL, it was a tongue-in-cheek 'quote' (in other words, I made it up). My point is that all these parents are complaining about their children eating with their mouths full when really they should be concerned with what they're feeding their children. Some people will just find any excuse to have a moan.

 oh.

I agree. I hate places like MacDonalds etc, I think the food is rank.

I LOVE the KFC adverts. Not to worried about mykids copying them though by talking with their mouths full. If I was going to worry about them copying adverts I would worry about that Marmite one. My sister lives accross the road from a farm and there are plenty dung heaps over there....wouldn't want them diving in.
I wouldn't want them making bets at school either on who's cheesestring will topple over first either.

I should hope not! The Ladbrokes in the High Street is where they should go for betting ;) :D

My children have accused me of speaking with my mouth full - it's all utter nonsense, of course.

But I found something strangely comforting about the new KFC advert..

a friend of mine never shuts her mouth properly to chew and as she's a rather big fan of tuna it's not the nicest of sights. :-?

It must be a kid's thing because I find it impossible to fill my mouth with the little portions you get. ;)
