Celebrity Love Island - Michael Greco Profile

For a man with 100 marriage proposals to his name, former soap star Michael Greco is used to saying no.

The heart-throb actor, who has been linked to a string of glamorous women, does not believe in love at first sight.

Age: 35
Star Sign: Libra
Born: Redhill, Surrey

“It takes time to get to know someone and fall in love properly but if a bit of lust comes along then I’m not going to block it. If I click with someone we’ll see what happens.

“I am doing this for a laugh but I know there are going to be beautiful women around and that is going to be a temptation for everyone,” he says.
Michael, who works out three-times-a-week, dated pneumatic glamour model Linsey Dawn McKenzie and was paired with Lisa Faulkner and TV presenter Dani Behr.

He claims to have matured from his approach in his 20s when relationships came and went.

“I had flings and holiday romances from the age of 18 to 25, but I’ve grown up since then. “I am looking forward to the challenge of getting on with 11 strangers in such a confined space. It takes me a while to open up but when you are with people 24/7 then its going to happen quicker.

“I’ve learnt a lot about how to treat a woman in relationships over the past couple of years and I think I’m a lot less selfish.

“Monogamy is very important – I didn’t think that in my teens or early 20s but I have matured and I definitely want to settle down, have children and a future and, until that person comes along, I’m not going to settle for second best.

“I don’t think I believe in love at first sight because then you are falling for the image and not the soul – but there’s no harm in having fun.”

Michael, who starred as Billy Flynn in the West End production of Chicago, is convinced that the mind is more important than the body when you are looking for a partner.

“If you find someone amazingly sexy but they are not stimulating your mind then you could get quite bored,” he adds.

“I am a very polite person so people may be surprised that I am not like the character they’ve seen on telly. I’ve been vilified quite unjustly in the past so this show will do me the world of good because it will show the true me.”

His sporty nature will set him up nicely for the beach competitions but he cannot swim so has promised only to go into the beautiful south seas up to his knees.

“Sharks do scare me. You hear stories of them getting lost and heading in land and then, before you know it, they can be biting your legs off. I’ll be happy just watching when it comes to any swimming,” says Michael.

He believes his smile, sense of humour and strong legs could be a turn-on for the girls and has stated that bitten finger-nails are his biggest turn-off.

“I’m attracted to women with nice smiles and good hands who have that ability to push me that extra bit,” he says.

“I believe men and women can be good friends. I’ve got half-a-dozen really close female friends and I haven’t slept with them or kissed them. But, equally, there are some girls who I have slept with and you can become very close to because you’ve got that stuff out of the way and you just get on with being close friends.

“The qualities I look for are honesty, truth and humour. On Celebrity Love Island I’m looking for laughs, a challenge and a great time in the sun . . . anything else would be a bonus.” femalefirst

For a speedy Olympic athlete Du’aine Ladejo has promised to take it nice and slow when he steps into paradise. The 34-year-old, who won silver at Atlanta and is a Commonwealth gold medallist at 400 metres, likes to take his time when he is not on the track.

Nicknamed ‘The Stag’ by athletics team-mates, the finely-tuned 6ft 1in runner claims to be a ‘slow-burner’ when it comes to the love stakes.

Age: 34
Star Sign: Aquarius
Born: London
“I like to take my time. I like long-term relationships and the longest has been about three years,” he says.

“Unfortunately, being an athlete you have to spend a lot of time focussing on yourself so it is difficult for others to understand that and the fact you have to go away for long periods. Training has always got in the way of relationships.
“But this is going to be a ball for me because it is stepping outside my arena. I’m going to relax and enjoy it – it is going to be so different from training and competing at athletics – and make good friends.”

Du’aine, who has recently split with a long-term partner who is expecting their child, adds: “She is a wonderful woman but things haven’t worked out. We’ve got this bundle of joy on the way and we are both looking forward to that immensely, regardless of our relationship.

“I’ve only recently become single after a fantastic relationship. I don’t know how long I’ll be in Fiji and it doesn’t sound like long enough to fall in love but you might build a relationship or a connection with someone. It might not go the full extent but it might be fantastic and, at the very worst, you will have a friendship.”

Du’aine, who enjoyed some titanic battles on the track as he chased glory, does not see himself involved in tussles for the ladies’ hearts.

“I am dreading any arguments or major conflicts,” he says. “I’m really there for a good time and to meet interesting people.

“Meeting a new girl is like opening a Christmas present – there’s the nice packaging and you wonder what’s inside. Then you either have a great surprise or end up thinking that’s it’s not what you wanted.

“I’m quite happy being single but you should never say never. I’ve had some great people in my life, especially recently, and I never rule out the possibility of rekindling that. I could end up meeting someone who becomes the love of my life – but it would have to be a great connection.”

If he does make the connection, Du’aine can quite easily turn on the charm after-burners. When he lost one girlfriend after leaving London for training commitments in the States, he bombarded her with flowers every hour, on the hour, from morning till she finished work.

“I came round with the final bunch myself. It worked…for a while,” he adds.

“I believe in monogamy but I have not been the best throughout my life – I’m not going to pretend I’m an angel. I made mistakes when I was much younger but, if you are with someone and there is a twinge that you want to be with someone else, you’ve got to be open and honest.

“I will be honest about my feelings and let’s see what happens. I am into girls who are healthy and look after themselves and have a beautiful smile. There might just be someone out there with the X-factor and anything can happen then. It’s all in the chemistry.” femalefirst

Calum Best flies out to Celebrity Love Island as the newly-crowned Bachelor Of The Year.

The 24-year-old beat 49 other eligible chaps to the title and the award makes him an extra special catch.

Age: 24
Star sign: Aquarius
Born: North Carolina, USA
Calum, son of Manchester United football legend George Best, is certainly expecting to revel in paradise.

“It is going to be ideal. Chilling out on the beach, sipping cocktails and checking out beautiful women – you can’t beat that. I find the ocean very therapeutic. Give me a tropical sunset and beautiful women in bikinis and I’m a happy man,” he said.
He prefers to play down his bachelor exploits but admits: “I like to flirt and have a good time with women but I’m not going onto the show to make a point of sleeping with anyone.

“I find women who are quite forward attractive and have no problem if they make the first move.”
Calum spent most of his formative years in LA after his model mum and Best split after eight years of marriage.

A talented footballer, he had designs on following in his father’s glorious boot-steps but has ended up as an in demand model and TV personality.

“I’ve only had puppy love so far so the thought of love is nice but I’m so young so all it’s been so far is lust. I can be romantic and I’m very respectful so it would be great if someone came along.

“I’m easy to talk to and girls like a bit of charm – I got that from my old man. He’s charming, makes women laugh and has the gift of the gab. He loves to party as well – that’s in the genes.

“I do like Latin girls because they have a laid-back, beach mentality but I don’t go out looking for a particular type.

“I’m going into this optimistically with no negative thoughts at all. I’m not bothered if someone doesn’t like me and I’m not going to go out of my way to argue with anyone. I’m not going in cut-throat, to do anything to win.”

Calum is aware that temptation is going to be everywhere and his combination of looks and charm make him a prime candidate to pair off with one of the six beautiful women contestants.

“I’m pretty good at getting on with people but I don’t give too much away and I’ll definitely want some privacy,” he adds.

“First off, it’s looks but then I’m not going to be with a girl who has no personality just because she’s good looking. She’s gotta be sweet, funny and able to hold a conversation otherwise it’s a waste of time.

“I think every guy who goes on vacation ends up having some kind of fling. I’ve been away a few times and met some quality girls but whatever happens out there, stays out there.

“But I hope people see me for the real me. I’m not going looking for love but if it happens that would be great.” femalefirst

Nightclub owner and party animal Fran Cosgrave has dated Atomic Kitten’s Natasha Hamilton and glamour model Jodie Marsh, so the prospect of facing six celebrity beauties is hardly daunting.

“I haven’t had a girlfriend for a year and four months which may surprise people who have an impression of me,” he says. “If I go out there and fall for someone, I will be really pleased, but a bit surprised.”

Age: 27
Star Sign: Capricorn
Born: Dublin
Superfit Fran, a former Westlife minder, adds: “When people go on holiday they really let their hair down and do a lot of stuff they wouldn’t at home. The sun itself is intoxicating. Just feeling the warmth puts your body in the mood.
“It’s going to be an unreal situation with beaches and beautiful people so I’ve got to keep my feet on the ground.

“But I love going out late and then maybe heading down to the beach with a bottle of wine at 4am and then watching the sun come up. It is going to be so romantic out there.”

Action man Fran, who was placed third in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, has the gift of the gab and a track record of facing every challenge head on. But, despite a womanising reputation, Fran says he’s very selective when it comes to girlfriends and that he has gone without sex for nine months before.

“I can easily last a while without sex. I’m into being myself and getting on with people. Sex isn’t everything in this day and age,” he says.

Fran, who has a two-and-a-half-year-old son, Josh, with ex-fiancé Natasha, says he now prefers to be single and refuses to date women who are looking for a long-term relationship.

“I used to be the quiet one. I used to be about two on the Richter scale but now I’m up to 10,” he adds. “I think I just went out one night, banged me head and woke up thinking I was Elvis.

“All you needed to romance me used to be two pints of Guinness, a bag of crisps and a push-up bra,” he says. “I’m a full-on lad, perhaps the worst kind of lad you’re going to come across. But I do believe in respecting people.”

Fran is relishing the physical and romantic challenges that are going to be hurled at him in paradise.

“I’m ready for it and it’s going to be amazing,” he adds. “I’m not ready to settle down yet and there’s no point in lying about it so I much prefer to be up front about it and say ‘Let’s just have a good time’.

“I like the mystery of Celebrity Love Island. I could meet a really attractive, normal, nice girl out there. I normally fall in love when I’m least expecting it and I do believe in love-at-first-sight.

“I look to get something out of every experience I have and this is going to be one hell of an experience. But I will just be me and be true to myself no matter how many cameras are around.

“If people like me then fine, if not then I’m not going to worry about it or change who I am. I usually get on with people very well though, and I know I’m going to have a fantastic time whether I win or not. femalefirst

It was easy to make former soccer star Lee Sharpe’s dreams come true: “My fantasy is to be stuck on a desert island with six beautiful women so I’m about to fulfil it,” he says.

“I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve been single for about 10 months so it would be difficult to think of anything much better than this.”

Age: 33 (will be 34 on 27 May)
Star Sign: Gemini
Born: Halesowen, West Midlands
But the ex-England international will not be a romantic push-over. He still has the scars from his first romance when he was a soccer sensation with Manchester United.
“I’ve definitely had my heart broken. I went out with a girl for five years from when I was 14 and I think I was probably expecting to marry her and have babies,” he says.

“It didn’t seem to happen. She was in Birmingham and I was in Manchester and she dumped me. I’m not sure whether I’ve recovered and I probably won’t give the whole of my heart to someone at the moment.”
Lee, who broke a rib fighting in Celebrity Wrestling, is hoping for a smoother reality ride this time.

“It is going to be a nice time in the sun and when you are away from home, with a few drinks, the whole atmosphere helps romance along,” he adds.

“Great weather, beautiful women and having a good time is the perfect combination. I get on with most people but I’m sure there will be a couple who get on my nerves. Then again, I’m sure I may get on other people’s nerves.

“But I’m a pretty happy, laid back sort of guy so I’m hoping that will appeal to everyone really. I suppose I dread getting drunk and making a fool of myself. My mates think I’ll make a mug of myself somehow.”

Lee, who won a haul of medals and eight England caps during his 15-year career, says: “Football has made me a competitive person and my mates hate me for it, my ex-girlfriend hated me for it but I think if I had a rival I would play clean and it would be a case of the best man winning.

“Obviously, I’m in it to win it but I’m not there to backstab or upset people.” femalefirst

Actor Paul Danan has mixed feelings about holiday romances after a teen experience showed the highs and lows of falling in love.

“I lost my virginity on a holiday romance. I was in Spain and it was with a really nice girl called Kirsty,” he says. “It was a two-week romance and she was great.

Age: 26
Star Sign: Cancer
Born: London
“But next year I went back to the same place and she went with my best mate so I was gutted in the end. It was difficult to take in at the time.”
Paul, who played Hollyoaks hunk Sol, has no doubt he’s hit the jackpot by landing a slot on Celebrity Love Island.

“It will be great. Going to a beautiful island for five weeks and dating beautiful chicks, they can’t knock you for that. I’m really going to enjoy it and have a laugh.

“I’ll just be as natural as I can with all those cameras around. But I like women, especially on a summer’s day when they are wearing not very much, so this is going to be a great experience,” Paul adds.

He believes the contestants will be chilled for the start but a competitive streak will kick in: “I’m quite easy going and will get on with everybody. I’ll probably be an advisor to people with problems. But I’m also competitive and when it gets down to a last few, everyone will be going all out to win.

“I’m going to play it dirty if anyone is in direct competition with me – I won’t like having a rival. It’s going to be tough competition.”

Paul’s only had three serious relationships and believes in staying faithful.

“If you love someone you should totally be faithful to them. When I was a lot younger I was unfaithful to my first girlfriend and snogged another girl at a New Year’s Eve party – it all ended up a mess and it taught me a lesson that faithful is good. It hurt a lot.

“My last big relationship was love-at-first-sight. We met at Glastonbury and were together for four years. When she walked past, it was just like ‘Wow!”.

“I don’t think I fall in love easily but I do fall in lust quickly. But then, after you’ve been out with them a while you find out they are not so great. Lust comes first but I definitely believe in love.

“I’m easy going and like a laugh and I will always help people if they have problems – I think my role out there will be as an advisor,” he adds. “More like an agony aunt!” femalefirst

Pop star Liz McClarnon is the only member of million-selling Atomic Kitten to have remained single.

The blonde beauty has watched fellow band members marry, settle down and have kids but she is happy with her independence and doesn’t expect that to change on Celebrity Love Island.

Age: 24
Star sign: Aries
Born: Liverpool
She is confident she can resist the island’s hypnotic spell and the charm of the male contestants: “I doubt it will happen. I’m going out for a laugh.
“I’ve never gone out with someone I’ve fancied straight away, I have to get to know someone first. I think it is going to be mad going on dates out there.”However, there is hope. She admits she ‘always has holiday romances’ but reckons they never survive the return home.

But it seems like there are plenty of men who could measure up to her requirements. She says: “I like sparkling eyes and that hint of mischief but I also like someone who can make me laugh.

“I love romantic gestures and one of the best has been when my whole room was covered with red roses on Valentine’s Day. But simple things are important as well.”

Liz’s celebrity hot bods are Josh Hart and Orlando Bloom, with Brad Pitt being too old to register on the Phwoarometer.

Liz has dated boy band members Lee Ryan, from Blue, and Westlife’s Kian Egan and was engaged to childhood sweetheart Tommy Hibbs.

“I’ve never chatted-up a boy. I’m not saying I don’t have to; I just don’t have the bottle. I’m rubbish at approaching boys and have never gone up to someone I fancy.

“My mum thinks it’s hilarious. She says: ‘You’ve gone out and got everything you wanted in your life but you can’t do that with a man’.

“I hate chat-up lines. I wouldn’t be impressed if someone came over and said ‘Yeah, hi’. Those sorts of guys really need to get over themselves. I’d be more impressed if they were nervous and natural.”

Liz believes the experience will give her a new set of friends: “I’m going to come out of it different. I’m going for the fun rather than the romance but I’m sure I’ll meet people I fancy. Whether I go out with them will be a different question.

“I do have crushes on people but I think that love comes before lust so I’m sure I’m just going to be in for a fun time. Sitting on the beach with a strawberry daiquiri is my idea of heaven so I’m not complaining.” femalefirst

TV presenter Jayne Middlemiss will play it for laughs when she steps into her beach bikini and shows off her model figure.

“It is going to be a massive laugh; it’s going to be hard not to enjoy a sunshine holiday on a paradise island,” she says.

Age: 34
Star sign: Aquarius
Born: Bedlington, nr Newcastle
“As for the boys, I flirt a lot. I prefer to look at it as being friendly, but I never show if I really fancy someone.”
Jayne, who has presented music shows and reality sports programmes, has been single for a year, but don’t expect her to go falling at the feet of the island’s beach hunks.

“I don’t go for really good looking men because they often don’t have a personality and they’re often really dull,” she says. “They never live up to the picture.

“I don’t fancy famous blokes so this should be interesting. I have turned down a date with a celebrity before as they are just not my scene.

“I’m not expecting to fall in love on the island but I have had holiday romances before – they’re really good fun. I’m not on the look-out and I’m happy being single. But if it happens, it happens.”

Jayne, who started work as a teenager selling TVs in a store, moved to London as an 18-year-old to be a model and did ‘some topless stuff’ before getting a break as a presenter on a music show. In her first three days she interviewed the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lenny Kravtiz, kd Lang and Louise.

She adds: “I’m very romantic and I love getting flowers but I never really show that I fancy someone at first. I’m a bit of control freak with myself. If I feel myself falling, I pull back so I don’t really fall in love at first sight.

“There has to be chemistry – never go out with anyone if it’s not there. Smart, funny men turn me on and stupid pretty boys who think they’re God’s gift do my head in.

“I’m not a ‘wham, bam, thank you ma’am’ kind of girl. I love the beauty of romance and, once I’m in a relationship, I’m a one-man woman.”

Jayne is a no-nonsense girl who doesn’t body swerve confrontations. Just ask the bad date that got a clout round the head for being a bore.

“I can be quite a difficult girlfriend, very high maintenance,” she adds. “I did give this guy a slap round the head once but I’m not expecting any trouble with the contestants. It’s going to be hard for me to remember it’s a competition when I’m laying on the beach.

“I’m not confrontational but I couldn’t just sit back and let someone be an idiot, I’d have to say something but I'm good at sorting it out and moving on. I hate people who say things behind your back – I can’t stand bitching.

“It is going to be a great experience and I hope I will learn a lot about myself and other people. femalefirst

Multi-talented Judi Shekoni is a romantic at heart but her busy lifestyle has swamped her relationships.

“This is going to be perfect for me. I can just be me and don’t have to worry about the phone ringing and going to auditions,” she says.

Age: 24
Star sign: Aries
Born: Manchester
“I’m not a long-term relationship girl - the longest I’ve been out with anyone is about seven months. I have a boyfriend for a while but no two-year relationships or anything. I’m never in one place long enough.”
But Judi, a model, actress, presenter and businesswoman who splits her time between LA and London, knows what she wants in a man.

“I like him to do the chasing. I look for someone who is tall, with a personality and a sense of humour. That’s essential,” she adds.

“I spend a lot of time in America but I’ve got a British sense of humour – self-deprecating, sarcastic and ironic. I like intelligence, ambition, creativity and a good body. I suppose I go for anyone from Brad Pitt to 50 Cent, so I guess I’m not fussy.

“I’m 5ft 11ins tall so it can be disappointing when I spot a really hot guy but when he gets up he’s still the same height as when he’s sitting.

“This will be a chance to fall in love and I’m definitely open to that idea – it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Usually, when I go on holiday, I have a little romance and that’s nice.

“If I like a guy, I will give them a bit of a hint. I don’t think you should be like a brick wall. It will be eye contact or maybe a smile and if they don’t recognise that then maybe some sexy body moves.”

Judi, who appears in the film Private Moments and has a lead role in a new American show, got four A-Levels at school but turned down a university place to pursue a TV and film career.

“I like a man to have style and to take care of himself – I can’t stand blokes who are sheep and don’t make any effort. Lazy boys are a real turn off.

“When I fancy someone I like a bit of spark, a bit of danger and excitement, that’s what I find attractive. I don’t want someone saying I’m beautiful and perfect, that would be awful.”

Judi, who has been single for six months, is looking forward to the beach, barbecues, sunsets and maybe even a bit of dancing.

“It’s one of my weak-spots. When I’ve had a glass of wine I’m convinced I’m the sexiest dancer in the world. I think I’m really hot and could get any guy in the club when the truth is probably something different and you wake up the next morning embarrassed.

“I’m looking forward to it. I’ve got lots of energy and don’t have any fear. I like making people laugh and I can laugh at myself so I hope I come across guys who find that attractive.

“This is going to be intense and personal. We’re going on dates and people are going to have to say what they think which will be quite harsh. But I can stick up for myself and I’m going to enjoy making new friends and enjoying the experience.” femalefirst

Rebecca Loos has scored more dramatic headlines than a politician and is unrepentant: “I don’t think anyone could take control of me.”

So, should viewers expect a firebrand to scorch across the sands and terrify fellow contestants?

Age: 27 (will be 28 on 19 June)
Star Sign: Gemini
Born: Madrid
“I am independent and I am decisive. People can say what they like about me, I’ve got a very thick skin and I can deal with that.
“But people who have pre-conceived ideas about me always say ‘You’re nothing like what I expected’ after they’ve met me, which is nice.”

A diplomat’s daughter, Rebecca is no stranger to controversy and it is hardly surprising that she likes her men with a hint of gunpowder.

“I like bad boys and motorbikes and tattoos,” she says. “I think tattoos are quite sexy and I like guys who are quite toned. Confidence is also a sexy trait in a man. I think a confident man in the bedroom is very sexy.

“I’m in this for fun but who knows who you might meet or what might happen?”

Her main seduction weapon will be her eyes: “I flirt with my eyes; apparently I do it all the time. I don’t mean to but it’s a 24/7 thing with me.

“That connection is more important than anything. I can walk into a party and meet the most unattractive guy there and look into his eyes and feel an amazing connection and energy. I would be more interested to be with him than a good-looking model.

“I used to fancy celebrities but I’ve met a lot and that changes things. I met Brad Pitt and there was nothing there at all - a very good looking guy, but no connection whatsoever. It’s got to be about the chemistry.”

Rebecca, who has had four serious relationships, says she falls in love easily though experience has taught her to be a bit harder in her outlook.

“I’ve had my heart broken and it was probably the most painful experience in my life and I hope I never go through it again,” she adds. “I fall in love very easily, it’s one of my down sides and I’m a very much a give-all person so I hurt quite easily as well. But I’ve learnt lessons along the way.

“Lust is nice but love is much more important. My fantasy is to find someone I can share the rest of my life with and have lots of children and I want to adopt lots of kids – I’d love a big country house with kids everywhere.

“I’ve been single for about a year but I have had lovers. I don’t know what to expect, but I will enjoy it and you just never know…” femalefirst

Sporting Lady Isabella Hervey is looking forward to tiring herself out with athletic pursuits as she rises to another challenge.

“I promise I won’t be first to bed every night,” she says. “I’m not going to be dull and boring, it would be too sad.

Age: 23
Star Sign: Pisces
Born: London
“This is a great opportunity and a challenge. I’ll have to get on with people I’ve not met before and it is totally different to anything else I’ve done so it will be mentally tough.
“I hope my personality comes across and people will be able to see more of me. I think people expect me to be more stuck-up and are surprised that I’m normal. People think because I’m a ‘Lady’ I must be posh.”

Isabella, the youngest daughter of the late 6th Marquis of Bristol, has been single for six months and is hoping Celebrity Love Island has some prime boyfriend candidates.

“I find it impossible to find the right sort of guy because I’m so picky,” she says. “I want a caring, kind man with olive skin, dark hair and who is sporty –not asking much, am I? I like manly guys who are also sensitive to women but, unfortunately, not many understand their own feelings let alone those of women as well.

“I don’t expect to fall in love but I would never rule anything out.”

Isabella, who has battled to make her way in the fashion industry, has been fairly unlucky in love: “I haven’t had many romantic things happen to me and, if they do, it’s only because the guys want to get into your pants and they’ve ended up being total horrors.

“I’ve only had two serious relationships but I prefer them to flings. My weakness is that I fall head-over-heels straight away and I’m a bit of a dreamer.”

The 23-year-old, whose elder sister Victoria found fame as an ‘It Girl’, has a no-nonsense approach to life and says: “I’m honest and straight forward but I will be quite guarded to start with, until I relax.

“I’m very upfront when something annoys me. I just get it off my chest. I’m very competitive. I can be quite impulsive and speak before I think.

“Being honest is so important. I’ve never been unfaithful and I think it’s the lowest thing you can do. I don’t know how anyone could live with themselves, cheating on someone. I’ve had my heart broken and it’s probably the worst thing you could ever go through.”

She has promised to play fair when the dating drama emerges on Celebrity Love Island. “I don’t believe in playing games. You either like me or not and vice versa. That’s it - no mind games,” says Isabella. “If there was a love rival for a guy then I’d just be myself and be fair then it would be up to the guy who he wanted to be with.”

She does have a fantasy figure who could sweep her away to paradise: “The guy I’d most like to take out to dinner is Jesse Metcalfe, the gardener from Desperate Housewives. He’s gorgeous.

“The things that attract me to men are their smile and their eyes and they must be kind and caring. My big turn-offs are arrogance, selfishness and being insensitive.

“I don’t know how I’m going to get on with the guys. I’ve not had a holiday romance since I was 13 so we’ll have to see what happens.” femalefirst

Glamour girl Abi Titmuss is top of the hit list for most red-blooded males as an ideal Girl Friday desert island castaway.

The sexy former nurse, whose raunchy magazine poses have made her a lads’ favourite, appears to be the ultimate party girl with a wicked streak.

Age: 29
Star sign: Aquarius
Born: Ruskington, Lincolnshire
She’s invested in a skimpy wardrobe of bikinis, thongs and floaty tops to show off her stunning figure as she becomes a Celebrity Love Island beach babe.
But the 29-year-old is also hoping that the show will give the public a chance to see her full character.

“It sounds like a lot of fun and hopefully I’m not going to be humiliated and have to eat kangaroo balls. It’s going to be an amazing experience and I’d just like people to see the real me,” she says.

“I do care what the public think. I hope they like me but I’m preparing myself to be first out as I did last year with Hell’s Kitchen. I am a fun girl, but I’m bright as well, and it would be good if people recognised that I wasn’t a one-dimensional character.”

But she has no doubt that her instant appeal hits admirers between the eyes: “It’s my bazookas! I think the boobs are the initial attraction – they’re quite eye-catching.”

Abi says she’s looking forward to assessing the Celebrity Love Island hunks and would love to find a long-term partner.

“Hopefully I will meet Mr Right and we’ll get married and you can film that too,” she adds. “I certainly believe in lust-at-first-sight but I also have a sort of notion that the person I end up with will be a love-at-first-sight job.

“I’m a passionate person and I fall in love easily but it tends to be two weeks then that’s it. I suppose I’m ideal holiday romance material. But I’m a loving person and I enjoy that feeling.

“I like a man to have something about them, be a bit edgy. The big turn-offs for me are dirty hands, a cocky manner and scruffy shoes.

“I’ve not been in a relationship for a year but I’ve dated a couple of guys during that time. I love being single but I want to be loved and go into this with an open mind and heart.”

She’s not fazed by the competition and any rivalries that may erupt amid the palm trees: “I’ve handled hospital wards in central London so I’m used to calming things down. If I can cope with difficult patients then I can deal with a few celebs on a beach.

“I consider myself a natural born leader which may be a problem, though I don’t like confrontation.

“I’m looking forward to making friends with the girls because that is more important to me than tarting it up with the boys.”

Abi, who has endured high drama and scandal on her journey from nurse to sex symbol, says that she will give the money to charity if she is voted the winner. femalefirst
