The Macromedia 7 presentation shows a house being built but I think it's a bit closer to home.
I also has clips from around the world and runs through images of some past winners including Craig and Cameron,
Show clips include UK BB1 ,4, CBB1 ,USABB shows including series 4 ,and Germany BB4.

Now apart from the menu that's in English don't ask me what the rest means.

Show starts later this year and runs for 100 days.

Thanks Larry, had a look at the site and their 'House' is pretty high class.

They are certainly going for the '12 houstmates' and '100 days' , just wondered if this is going to be the scheme for all the shows this year ?????

100 days is quite normal and so is 105 days.
I think it's more the case of the UK falling into line with everybody else. Though I can't imagine a 65 day CBB4. Don't know the normal running time for others CBB but the Spanish one was 65 days.

I bit of research on the about tv streaming .
Looks like you need to register with IPTV to access services. That's the easy bit. But then when you try to access the TV feeds it tells you that you need a license which isn't cheap .One years subscription is US$240. Subscription periods are 1 month ,3 month ,6 month ,and 1 year.
The free trial clips are very high quality but unless you intend to watch Thai TV on a regular basis then I don't think it's worth it.

Lets hope they have streaming for BB and it's cheaper or even free.

Thanks for reminding people ,there is a thread further down that also contains the links.
I found the feeds weren't the best for stability and have stopped watching though the details of who has been evicted and nominated are easy to obtain.

Critics have voiced their concerns over Big Brother, a reality TV show on UBC and iTV, after two contestants who fell for each other expressed their love openly before the cameras.

The critics said the two contestants, Pim and Toto, could set a bad example for young audiences.

Big Brother _ Thailand is produced by Kantana Group, which imported the concept from the Netherlands and has been on air for a month now. In the show, 12 strangers live under the same roof for 105 days, during which time they are required to complete missions assigned by ``Big Brother''. All their movements and activities are monitored and broadcast around the clock via 26 cameras located in every corner of the house. Those who can't get along with others are voted out one by one until the final week. The last person remaining wins the game and wins a house, car and cash prize.

The programme has drawn criticism since it began, but became an even hotter issue over the weekend after some viewers complained to Khao Sod newspaper about the behaviour of the two contestants who ``acted like lovers''. They were seen holding hands, touching and hugging each other and were often seen lying together on the sofa or sharing a blanket in bed.

Sasikorn Chansate, managing director of Kantana Group, said the objective of the programme was to present what happened in real life when people are living together, showing the way they behave, the way they adjust to others in order to survive in the group. She insisted sex was not the highlight of the programme.

``Now that Toto has been voted out, there should be less criticism,'' she said.

However, Itthipol Pretiprasong, head of research and development team of the TV for Kids project, questioned whether this kind of programme was useful for youngsters.

``In the show, the 12 people are totally cut off from the outside world, which in reality is impossible. Despite its concept, the programme is far from reality,'' he said. ``If you say it's about how people would live together, there should be something else, apart from chatting, gossiping and boycotting someone in the group. There are other creative things they could do,'' Mr Itthipol said. The improper behaviour of the contestants could also lead to imitation among young audiences, he said.

He said the producer should be more responsible and careful when importing this kind of programme. Since Thai culture was unique, the programme should be adjusted to fit local traditions instead of just copying the original version.

Dr Panpimol Lortrakul, a child psychiatrist, raised concern over scenes involving love relationships since it could cause copycat behaviour once the programme is broadcast to mass audiences.

``And as reality shows seem really close to real life, it would have more impact on the audience than soap operas,''she said.

Ladda Thongsupachai, director of the Cultural Surveillance Centre under the Culture Ministry, said she has kept a close watch on the programme from the start.

``We realise the risk of the programme. Since it is a reality show, anything, including sex, could happen. And even though Toto has been voted out, we still need to be watchful of the contestants,'' she said.

The House committee on religion, arts and culture will invite the producer of the reality TV game show Big Brother-Thailand to explain the ''improper behaviour'' of two contestants.

Chairman Kuthep Saikrachang said yesterday the committee was highly concerned that young viewers might imitate the contestants' behaviour, who acted as if it was real and not just a game show.

''I don't understand why they dared to express their love openly before the cameras, or if they were told by the producer to do such a thing in order to get the top TV audience rating,'' Lt Kuthep said.

To clarify this matter, the committee would invite the producer to explain and would also put pressure on state agencies, especially the Culture Ministry, to decide whether Big Brother and other similar programmes should continue to be aired.

''Thai society can't accept a reality programme like this because it does more harm than good to society,'' he said. ''Why did the Thai producer import the concept of the programme from a foreign country?''

After facing criticism, the male contestant involved, Toto, was voted out of the show. He later told a press conference that he and the female contestant, Pim, had not intended to express their love openly before the cameras, but found they could not control themselves. He expressed his regret and asked for understanding.

The pair were seen holding hands, touching, hugging and seen lying together on the sofa or sharing a blanket in bed.

Viewers complained to Khao Sod newspaper that their behaviour was improper.

The show features 12 strangers living under the same roof for 105 days. They are required to complete missions assigned by Big Brother. Their activities are monitored by 26 cameras located throughout the house and broadcast around the clock. Those who cannot get along are voted out one by one. The last person wins a house, a car and cash.

The Department of Youth Observation and Protection yesterday ordered all remand homes not to allow children in their care to watch the programme.

I can see this following the same outcome that the Arab show did when it got cut short due to public protests etc.

It might also explain the difficulties alot of people have been experiencing whilst trying to watch the Internet feeds. I'm not even sure if they are still running.

THAILAND's version of the popular Big Brother reality TV show is at risk of being axed after the kingdom's cultural watchdogs cried foul when contestants kissed and expressed their love on air.

Producers of Big Brother-Thailand have been called on to explain behaviour deemed improper by the country's culture watchdogs after two contestants were seen holding hands, touching and lying together under bedding.

The House of Representatives' committee on religion, arts and culture, warned that the show, launched in April, would be scrapped next week if they could not provide adequate rationale for keeping it on the air. "The improper behaviour by contestants, including hugging, kissing and touching each other, is one of the reasons" for the concern, committee chairman Kuthep Saikrajang said.

"I have no idea how this programme is good for society," he said

The House of Representatives' committee on religion, arts and culture, warned that the show, launched in April, would be scrapped next week if they could not provide adequate rationale for keeping it on the air.

"The improper behaviour by contestants, including hugging, kissing and touching each other, is one of the reasons" for the concern, committee chairperson Kuthep Saikrajang told AFP.

"I have no idea how this program is good for society," he said.

The show, a spin-off of the popular and steamy Dutch original, is broadcast 24 hours a day on a private cable station.

A 10-minute daily wrap-up is aired on ITV, a station controlled by Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra's family's media empire.

It pits 12 contestants in a house for 105 days, with 26 cameras recording their every move. Contestants are voted off one by one and the lone survivor wins a house, a car and cash.

Last week two contestants, Toto and Pim, became romantically involved and Kuthep said such images, while broadly accepted in the West, were inappropriate for the kingdom, especially as youths might imitate the contestants behaviour.

There were many programs under production to promote religion and righteous moral values, but they could not find broadcast time, he said.

Toto, the male contestant in the fracas, publicly apologised for his behaviour, but Kuthep said it would not help solve society's problems.

Thailand embraced the reality TV concept last year, with the launch of Academy Fantasia. 'Thailand's Next Top Model', a local take of an American show, was set to debut on Wednesday.

Contestants told to mind their behaviour

The producer of the much-criticised Big Brother reality TV programme insists the show will go on, but more caution will be exercised with the contestants' activities.

The programme drew flak after two of the contestants began acting like lovers and were often seen lying together on the sofa or sharing a blanket in bed.

Sasithon Chansate, managing director of Kantana Group, said the company would be more careful with the content in future. Contestants would be told to mind their behaviour.

However, self-censorship would mean the programme would lose its charm.

Mrs Sasithon said that the show, which has been on air for a month now, would go on unless the company was told to pull it off.

She also said the much-talked about scene was not aired to boost the show's rating, but to bring to the audience what really happened.

''The producer simply wanted to show what was going on. Why do we have to conceal what really happened?''

The objective was to help viewers see both the dark and bright side of people, and thus learn to adapt.

Puwadol Jingsitri, known as Toto to viewers and one of the two contestants at the seat of the controversy, yesterday again apologised for any inappropriate show of physical affection between him and a female member of the show.

He said when they were holding hands and cuddling up on the sofa or on the bed it was not a put-on to get higher ratings. They actually fell in love.

In the show, 12 strangers live under the same roof for 105 days, during which time they are required to complete missions assigned by ''Big Brother''.

All their movements and activities are monitored and broadcast around the clock via 26 cameras located in every corner of the house.

Those who cannot get along with others are voted out one by one until the final week. The last person remaining wins the game _ and a house, car and cash.
