phwoar, i could watch leilani and kate wrestling all day in super slow motion replay, they were hot grapling with each other, hands between each others legs

Not a lot to hold on to though...............

I saw this as the pivotal week in the team event-The Warriors led by FOUR and after 3 truly fierce and evenly contested and controversial contests they now lead by SIX. Given next weeks finale line-ups the Crusaders can’t do it.

Early sparks as Joe Legend starts wrestling D-Lo in an unprovoked attack for the verbal intimidation of Katie the previous week.

After that was sorted Euan fought Hewitt to a draw despite injury and some gamesmanship from Hewitt on rule interpretation(whether floor grooves could be used to get purchase in the bagel Shove thing.).Superb last second switch and swing move by the Major to salvage a draw on chain reaction-shows he can think on his feet.

Then the main event with Kate v Leilani –some good build up as they review a friendly persuasion that turned a little too competitive in the training camp and the tension of the early bouts.(“Excuse me Bugs Bunny…”they left in)
In the end it was frustrating and disappointing. The masked celebrity (Terri Dwyer) held both to identical standoff on the Rope pulley thing then in Sumo Slam a draw was called even though Kate had obviously been the aggressor and almost carried Leilani out of the ring at one point.(Wierdly they edited most of this bout out and hardly showed any of it-was it because of the new 9.40 a.m airing??Was it really too brutal to show?).
In ITV2 we leanrt that Kate knew that Jenny and Leilani had hatched a plan to simply frustrate Kate for the contest and let her tire herself out and spring out in the last quarter-so it was clear Kate should have had the refs decision.
The final bout was Fully Charged where lights on the body are lit up by stabbing actions-decent contest but difficult to see and Kate uses her speed and boxing training to nick it and win the point.
Leilani a real sweetie really after her fierce contest with Kate who is also generous to the loser.(Leilani was crying but had received a jab in the eye)

Then the clincher as El Diablo receives the benefit of suitable events and his phlegmatic determination to persevere and scores a 2-1 victory over first Scott (another one injured out with a wrist injury)and then Mikey Green(who has a head wound from the bars and an arm injury from being trampled on). The two blue points are cheered like no others for a popular Marc Bannerman who came good at the death.

(Victoria is also out injured after her leg fails to recover in time for next week)

Brief interview with Vanessa Felps on ITV2 who was very enthusiastic about it and said she was “electrified “by Kates fierce demeanour and amazed at her lean physique(she seems to have not an inch of cellulite!)

What a pleasant surprise Celebrity Wrestling was today, & what a shame it wasn't on at primetime.

Kate proved again why she won Big Brother: sheer resolve, personality & charisma.

After the filming of Celebrity Wrestling finished Leilani ligged like a goodun & kept saying how she would love to punch Kate's lights out - but it was Kate who came out on top.

Kate has got six points for the Warriors & surely they'll win it now. What a great team player she is.

Not giving anthing away but it seems Kate had to fight Annabel to get into the final & Annabel is twice her size & an ex professional athlete - so no disgrace there, whatever happened.

Kate won all her team matches. Not bad considering she had six months of the media sneering about her weight, insinuating she was anorexic.

Kate was absolutely hilarious. The sublime moment being Kate's reference to Leilani's suggestion that she cheated against Jenny(yeah, right) :" Excuse me, Bugs Bunny!" - stop it Kate!

Those women who took part in Celebrity Wrestling won't forget Kate in a hurry.

We had Michelle who was thrashed.

Jenny who dismissed Kate but was soundly beaten.

Leilani who wanted to beat Kate more than anything - but was soundly beaten as well.

And Annabel, yeah the strongest, but a woman who had the audacity to call Kate a 'wimp', even though Kate's points have probably helped to win the team title.

At least Kate tried to promote the show positively; she was/is only complimentary to her fellow competitors in the pre-show publicity. It's a shame that others had to bitch about her. Kate who was only guilty of trying to inject some oomph into the show.
I expect Annabel apologised to Kate at the Asia charity show last week or at least explained her comments were taken out of context.

I was a bit dissapointed at the ref's decision in the sumo-slam round - I thought Kate had the most best moves/holds. Luckily, Kate went on to win the next round, Yay!

I agree, with PIL, Kate is a great team player and more than any of the other contestants, really gets into the spirit of the show. IMO. I bet Jo Legend is delighted to have her on his team, and rightly so!

I'm really cross! I don't like this new time - I forgot to watch it. Thank you for all your write ups about it though.

Kate, is fan-bloody-tastic!!!! The knowing smile she gave when Terri was introduced as the masked celebrity was lovely. I do be on the edge of my chair when Kate is doing her bouts, so far I have nothing worry about the girl has not let herself or her fans down.

Me neither! I thought it was that Gina who was in Fame Academy but that was only because of the dancing.

It's a great pic-it is a repeat of the election day centrefold.

What he actually said which we discussed here was that if he came across a boxer with her heart he would sign him/her.He didn't say Kate herself could be a pro boxer.But yeah you reported the Star correctly-it was then that altered it.

I dont' have ITV2 so I can only comment on the ITV1 show.

I love CW but I cannot stand Lilani or Jeff.

I think Lilani is such a Drama and I think she is such a Drama Queen and the editing is making her look like the Bitch she branded Kate.

Kate is being edited in a really good light and I think win or loose she will be happy with that.

Jeff is such an arrogant little git and I cannot wait to see him get battered.

I don't think CW is as bad a show as the Media is making out it is just not Saturday Night Prime Time. If this show had gone out midweek straight after Paul O'Grady is might have done better.

COMING UP THIS WEEK...

The celebrity wrestlers are no longer fighting for points. It's the semi-finals and now it's the best of three rounds and then sudden death.

The ultimate grudge match returns as Kate and Leilani battle it out to make it to the final. Last week saw Jenny ruled out with an injury so this week Shauna goes head to head against Annabel.

For the boys, Iwan takes on Phill and it's the battle of the team mates as Crusaders Jeff and James fight it out to make it to the final. ITV

Can't understand why the ref didn't penalise Jenny for gripping the ledge in her bout against Annabelle - still, was sorry Jenny had to retire at this stage of the game due to injury, she was a good contender.

As for Shauna V Annabelle in the final? - Shauna has the size and physical strength, but, unless she can get hold of Annabelle ...pin her down or throw her of the stage early on before she tires out....Annabelle will win, she's agile and has more stamina. IMO

Kate V Leilani? - Ooooh, I'd rather it had been Kate V Jenny.

Kate got six points for the Warriors - the same as Annabel - & none of the guys matched that. Kate will get no credit for this, but Kate rarely & unfairly gets any credit. Kate hasn't done too bad for a woman the media insinuated was anorexic.

The sem-finals are really a lottery.

Kate set out to achieve what she needed to do - & that was prove her fitness.

Well done Kate - you've done yourself proud.
