Hi Jezi - how's you? Long time since we caught up - I miss BH!!

Anyway - just to say that I used to worry ALL the time, and had no confidence when I was your age. Then I suddenly realised that most of the things I worried about never happened, and I'd endured all the grief in vain. That was liberating for me. No wonder the Bible describes worry as a sin, come to think of it. It holds you back so much. And worrying about what other people will think of you is pointless too. I don't mean that you should go round giving people a hard time, but just remember that you can't control what other people will think of you, and it's more important to just be yourself.

Back on topic - I think I'd like this book!

Me too, what an eye-opener! Life changing book really. I AM worth it ;) I could have written Liz's response on pages 150 and 151 especially the bit where she says "And you're willing to wait for him, because your feelings for him are so very large and profound. (Of course, I am now suspicious that my feelings for them all felt so large and profound precisely because they couldn't be mine, but I wouldn't be able to prove that in court.)"

I swear this book couldn't have come to me at a better time ()^

Hi VB. Not too bad thanks, you?

That is true! To be honest, I don't worry so much about what people think of me but I just worry about virtually everything else. Usually keep it hidden away as well which in a way isn't very clever but it's also good because no-one wants to be burdened with someone whinging about being worried.

Glad you enjoyed the book scotslass, sounds like lots of people thing it's good.
