People have dedicated servers that you will see in the chan, but we are going to skip all that and just focus on their main bot. The bot has the latest shows (au and uk) from the past few days while cycling in the new ones and out with the old. Speeds are almost always 400+ KB so it's VERY fast.
Open mirc, join any of the efnet servers, once you connect type /join #big-brother to join the channel. Once in you want to see what files the bot has on it, so type in /msg BroBot xdcc list. Those are the files on the bot. Then just follow the directions it gives you, so if you want file 4 it would be /msg BroBot xdcc send #4.
If Mirc rejects the file, you need to change the filters. Go into Tools/options/dcc/ignore then in method chose disable. Sometimes firewalls can get in the way too. The file will save in your C:\Program Files\mIRC\download folder.
Got mIRC running getting day25 part two where the replacement housemates enter the house. Downloading at 89kb/s. Day 26 I think has been posted so I'll go looking there next.
I'm not a fan of chat rooms but for file downloading this is extremely fast.
Now where is my 2Meg connection NTL ? Show have been upgraded by end of May but still limited to max 90KB/s downloads which should still be 750K connection.
