Did anyone else watch the start of the new series last night? I love this programme :D Was very sad last night though ... :-(

I used to watch it but I now find it tedious and boring. It's the same plot each series: the two salons in competition with each other and there's some prestigious competition, such as North West Manchester and Bolton (Medium-Sized Salons) Regional Finals, and it's all a bit last-minute and it all ends in tears for someone. Or someone's dad's having an affair with a girl who turns out to be his sister's missing daughter but her step-mum is the bloke's grandmother who has turned up out of the blue to open a rival salon across the street.

Is that you Milly in the European Champions' League Winners parade crowd?

This series has been really sad. The bit at the end last week when Allie and Gavin were running around the wood with sparklers (with the Stone Roses playing in the background) was so moving :-(
