I think Dan Brown's writing style leave a lot to be desired, but they are quite good page turners. I enjoyed the Da Vinci Code enough to read all his other books. Angels and Demons was my favourite, and I was quite glad I'd read it when the whole Papal election thing was going on. I knew all the stuff before the BBC told me, hehe.

I'm reading at the moment have just got to where they are in England looking for the knights tomb.

It's an interesting book, which for me as a not very religious person, has really made me think about religion. I am really enjoying at the moment. I have Angels and Demons as well.

The only thing about the book, which is a personal opinion from myself, is that it's very long and it's one of those books you just want to finish, and the 2 don't mix for me..... too much suspense!

I read it just before the pope thing and when the pope died was quite spooked.
His writing style is a bit cliched..but he knows how to hook you into the story. At the end of each chapter I'd just want to see what happens next!

---- Got spooked too when the pope died. As a lapsed Catholic I didn't think about it till he started to get ill and then got really emotional and upset. He's the only one in my lifetime, I can't imagine another man being the pope?

I just read Angels and Demons - couldn't put it down. Loads of twists and packed with facts and information, but a really easy read - I loved it :D

I'm just starting, it's starts off very similar to Da Vinci code which makes me wonder if Dan Brown can write anything different!

I just got about a week ago Finnish edition (it was just published over here - I know you have had it already since 2000) of Angels and Demons and I've enjoyed reading it after DaVinci Code! I like to read this type of books in the summer. ;)

is it the same like the bible-code thing? saw a documentary about the bible-code and they told that it is merest accident that there are names and dates, you can find it also in moby dick or in every other book.
