Feel a bit muppet-ish putting up this each week when the link to the full thing is posted later but oh well, it's become a bit of a ritual now.

There is a bit about Live 8 and the march in Edinburgh, how it's good and that in politics there is too much talking and not enough doing. Possibly buying property abroad and hopefully taking a summer holiday at the same time. Going to the Ellon Summer Festival this weekend (do they have that every year? I've never even heard of it which is pretty bad as Ellon isn't exactly far away) but not being able to see the Golden Rose winner because she's off on her trip to Paris. After the festival recording a new radio quiz called Your Word Against Mine which is about Scots language. Then the last bit is about speaking at a conference in Derbyshire where 'one of the subjects (he) addressed was whether a celebrity presenter can be more effective in Religious programmes than a geniune Christian' and Reality TV.

One question for Cameron, you see at the top of the article it says 'I might be at Hyde Park if my diary is free' - I thought that it was going to be really difficult to get tickets because you could only do so through the lottery thing?

Thanks for the report, Jezi. It's traditional for some of us to check on a Saturday/Sunday to read your summary - you're more reliable than the EE!

Thanks Cameron, never actually knew you were doing a BB one. Due to being completely wrecked and extremely busy I won't have time to do a round up until Friday probably. Just depends.

Purchased from a shop miles away today but here we go...

Being at the Ellon Music Festival and it being brilliant. (My friend went on the Saturday to see someone who lives there and she said it looked really good.) Cameron said he'd rather do those sort of events every day of the year than the fancy ones in London. Not being sure what he thinks of the Michael Jackson case but I'll not bother explaining because can't think of how to summarise it. Hoping to go to the Live 8 concert but not being sure if he could get a ticket and thinking it was awful that people were selling them on the Internet. (That is terrible, never actually heard of people doing that) His brother being on honeymoon and visiting Bahamas and now Canada. The last bit is about going around Scotland again and chairing the Scottish dialect quiz thing. Someone will be singing 'Is This The Way to Amarillo' in Doric this week, that I'd love to hear ::lol::
