I didn't apply for tickets on the basis that I'd rather watch it on TV!

I've been to Party in the Park in Hyde Park before, with 100,000 other people, and unless you are prepared to be there at the crack of dawn to queue, you end up being unable to see the actual stage, and end up watching the screens instead.

I text once to get tickets so don't think I'm in with much of a chance but looking forward to watching it on the TV. ()^

It's a sad fact but the exact same though crossed my mind too, I'm sure the security will be extremely tight but there will no doubt be various attempts on the lead up to the event and on the day. :-?

It'd be good to see U2, REM & Pink Floyd, but if it meant having to watch Annie Lennox, Coldplay, Dido, Elton John, Keane, Mariah Carey, Robbie Williams, Scissor Sisters & Sting, I think I might go quite quite mad and cut off my ears.

I did not apply for tickets ;)

I think it's great there is going to be a wide variety of music genres and they are catering for people young and old. Whether you like or dislike any of the artistes they are all doing it for the same reason, a good cause and it will be fantastic atmosphere whatever. :D

I was offered tickets for REM at Loch Lomond and I'm gutted I can't go.

Hope you enjoy the gig Morrissey.

Decent enough day. Enjoyed the Zutons and was very pleasantly surprised by Idlewild but Feeder were awful except for their last song (Just a day) and I was actually disappointed with REM. Not keen on their new album and didn't like the tracks they played off it and they missed out my favourite REM song (End of the world).

Someone from work was at the REM concert yesterday but I haven't spoken to them so dunno if they enjoyed it.

I presume that big REM Fans will have loved it, my mate got my ticket and he goes to see them all over the world and he absolutely loved it.

I got rather drunk so it wasn't all a waste! :D

God that's a hell of a view to have Blags? Thankfully wouldn't have crossed my mind.
