Ok I apologise if this is a bit heavy but I donated blood for the first time yesterday in response to a 6 year old girl called Alisa Hussain who was in my local paper who desperately needs a bone marrow transplant. If any adults (if you're Asian that's even better) can do so i'd really urge you to give it a go. How would you feel if you saved a childs life? Isn't that worth a little bruise on your arm? If anyone does dontate now then please say so on here to encourage the rest of us peeps! XXX

Asians are very much in demand because they are by and large group B which is fairly unusual.However being slight framed by and large the girls ften struggle to reach the minimum weight of 8 stones

I didn't know that. The reason an Asian donor is best in this case tho is bcz the child is a Pakistani kid. Apparently its a better chance for her if we get an Asian donor. If anyone reading this wants to donate tho u could still be a match for her or anyone else so no excuse to wuss out!
