Last ever EVER Countdown show hosted by Richard Whiteley is on at 3.15pm, Friday.

still can't believe it, although I haven't watched it for years because of the timing (they put it on late afternoon when most people are at work and repeat it early morning when everyone's asleep so few can appreciate what a quality programme it is! yes, I know I have a VCR...). But I loved it when I was at school and uni (when it was on at 4.30, and I fancied Carol :D).

end of an era.
